if you want to avoid suspicion, your best bet are going to be fuel-air type bombs. H2 or gasoline fumes trapped in a tank or balloon. they may not be dynamite, but the materials are accessible and the results are always exciting in person.

How big is the boom?

Formally declare that you now have an agricultural farm, then buy big amounts of amoniumnitrate fertilizer. Filter the nitrate out of it and mix it 9/1 (not sure) with Diesel. To ignite you only have to make small amounts so nitroglycerin or fulminated mercury are good and easy to make in small amounts (but be careful they are highly explosive)

it depends on the amount of explosive you have. generally speaking, an H2 bomb explodes quickly and forcefully with a loud shockwave. a gasoline based bomb burns as much as it explodes and creates a fireball, but with a lesser shockwave. these are the only bombs i have any experience with. if you actually want to make a bomb, i'd recommend starting with a small H2 balloon bomb for simplicity and safety reasons. you can most of the effects of a large bomb out of a small one, and they can be scaled if you want more.

To make nitroglycerine mic highly concentrated sulfuric and nitric acid in an ice bath (almost 50/50 i dont know exactly, look it up). Do that gently so it is not overreacting. Now gently DRIP small drops of glycerine in there. The temperature should at all times not exceed 10C. The now formed nitroglycerine should make a nice layer. Remove it with picrelated and be careful that you dont also get acid in there. Tadaa now you have nitroglycerine.

Be careful though as this shit is
-Highly explosive
-Highly poisonous so do that reaction outside
