>Stare at Nazi ideology >Stare at "If you're not my race, you are against me" >Realize even within a race in modern society there are situations where racial kinship falls apart (starvation scenario, control, etc) >Realize we can all live in harmony if we can prevent totalitarians that think "Me vs You" from attaining power >The many races of man just have to prevent resources from ever being spread thin through teamwork, and we can all live in unison >Realize the Nazi regime was wrong, immoral, and evil
Why did people follow Adolf Hitler? He was so foolish he didn't even think to exercise and lazed off his work even though he ran a regime of millions. His command lead his country to ruin, so what does that say about his ideology when the one that made it ended-up committing suicide as a consequence of a war they started? The way Hitler drew pictures of a war he was in shows you he was sick in the mind and very much a non-combatant in WW1.
do you seriously think people only behave in tribal ways if some demagogue tells them to? protip: they don't, it's a very natural thing to do
Jacob Cooper
I'm well aware people are tribalistic to the core, but that doesn't mean we have to kill one another.
People on all sides don't really want to see other tribes killed and destroyed. It's really all just necessity that can be prevented.
Matthew Wright
Then why do people consistently bring up sins long past to justfy doing evil today? South Africa, even modern America are prime Examples, Germany aswell.
Gavin Myers
Most of it is money and resource related. It's mostly lies.
The justification comes after the fact.
Ian Reyes
btw >>Stare at "If you're not my race, you are against me" this is not entirely correct, Nazis weren't against all other races, they allied to some and specifically targeted others for various reasons also the main reason people followed Hitler was because of desire to revenge the humiliation of the Versailles treaty, because of a fear of Communism, socioeconomic hardship etc amazon.com/Coming-Third-Reich-Richard-Evans/dp/0143034693 this is a good book on the topic
Justin Bell
Hitler explicitly touched on "History is just the warring of the races" in Mein Kampf. This was the entire idea behind Lebensraum.
He wanted to build a strong, only Aryan Germany with lots of room for population growth. The Nazis allied to further their ends. They would've eventually turned against them all if Hitler left behind a plan.
Sebastian Stewart
I don't blame the people (even though they liked him). I blame the system of government that enabled someone like Hitler to have full control.

>apartheid >long past

>The Nazis allied to further their ends. yes tho this topic is difficult Nazi racial theory was completely ascientific, for example iirc they captured Aryan looking Polish children and put them into German families to have them become German also Nazi Germany didn't want to conquer the world iirc, the focus was always on eastern Europe as a base for self-sustainability well without question the people were to blame, they supported and elected him however it is naive and stupid they did so because they saw him as evil or because the people themselves were evil they elected him because they though he was good for their country the question is what made the people think that way
