Medical bills don't receive priority treatment and can easily be wiped out by filing for bankruptcy. It's pretty shitty that hospitals rip you off in the US when you pretty much have no other choice when your or your family's life is in danger.

That's kind of cruel to say, rural whites are relatively powerless. They might have disproportional control over elections, but people living in trailer parks making $20,000/year are not running the system, nor single-handedly sustaining it. That's like blaming blacks living in urban ghettos. Laughing at the increased suffering of common whites in this country isn't challenging the system, it's probably helping it.

The American healthcare system is primarily run by health companies that have aimed to privatize the system as much as possible, while also accepting government subsidies at the same time. Essentially Americans are having their tax-dollars handed over to corporations so those companies can run the health system for profit. The ruinous system is sustained because there hasn't been sufficient popular pressure against it. Powerful organizations will continue to leech so long as common people don't organize and confront them. It won't collapse on its own, no matter how dysfunctional it gets (since they'll always have the state to bail them out).

Americans think every other healthcare system is communism. Americans think they would pay more in taxes for public healthcare, even though they would pay less. Americans think they are invincible and will never have anything happen to them. Americans are happy as long not a single cent goes towards helping the poor, and all their money goes towards bombing brown people instead.

The medicare for all system proposed by Sanders has already been priced at a cost cheaper than the current system, based on an intensive study paid for by the Koch brothers, who assumed the study would make Sander's plan look horrible.

This is a pretty big contradiction in what you're saying, which I otherwise agree with, even though there has been push back and some of the major issues were almost addressed with Obamacare (the biggest victory being in pre-existing conditions).
