Are americans normies even aware that chinese phones exist?

Don't think a communist government controlled communications country is capitalism mate

>no-no don't let China spy on you let us do that with iphones©®™(made in China)

Am*ricans fear the Chinese BVLL

What the fuck? I've had an Axon 7 for two years now and no one has ever recognized my phone's brand, not even phone repair stores.

China hasn't been communist since the 80s, my fast food loving friend.

How is it that people still think China is communist? They are a totalitarian dictatorship, but economically they are much more capitalist than most western countries.

Don’t think a communications company controlled by a totalitarian dictatorship is capitalism mates.

>White House mutts

these companies have already been caught using their devices to spy on western citizens, its only right that our governments protect us from that
of course, being from outside the five eyes you are being spied on by our governments anyway so its not really a big deal for you

daily reminder that not one (1) person has been able to prove the NSA's claim that Huawei devices are backdoored

Free market is only free when America is on top.

Free market economics and totalitarian government can't really exist by simple definition.

>Still, Huawei's founder, the father of Ms Meng, is Ren Zhengfei - a former military officer in the Chinese army. And the fact remains, as Mr Zaagman points out in a recent piece for The Lowy Institute, "the firm's relationship with the Chinese People's Liberation Army remains an issue of concern and opacity".
>Which is why the US says countries must be wary of Chinese companies like Huawei. Under China's laws, private companies and individuals may be obliged to hand over information or data to the government if they are indeed asked.

THeyre more capitalist in the sense that they’re willing to ingnore income inequality and labor regulation. But China is a tightly controlled economy, a free market overall but with huge Keynesian command elements. Definitely not a free market by any means.

the free market is only free when it's in your advantage. when it's not, it needs some good old government intervention.

>controlled by a communist party with the explicit goal of eventually establishing communism
>nope no communism here m8s

All Chinese companies like Huawei et al are fronts for the party and the army, they're not really companies in the sense you'd think.

I don't understand how any american could be against this. One of the main goals is to be ahead of others. There's nothing wrong with competing like this.

Have you ever heard of Chile?
What actual communist policies have they instituted? They don’t even have socialized medicine.

Accurate. The CCP can use them to steal technology and spread propaganda to influence governments. China is similar to the late stage Soviet Union which was also engaged in mass theft and infiltrating Western universities and media outlets.

>They don’t even have socialized medicine.
They're getting there, this is the entire point the market economy for now.

Confucius Institutes.

/thread

I know you guys are obsessed with America, but why are you obsessed with this company?

I never heard of this company, and don't give a shit.

Why are there multiple threads every day about this?

I also wouldn't give a shit, or be bothered enough to start a thread about Bulgaria banning any company.

Because China has a law from 2016 requiring their companies to aid the government. They've been actively engaged in industrial spying despite saying they wouldn't. Huawei has close ties to the Chinese military and the government has invested in the company. The British have noticed security flaws in Huawei's 5G equipment. I could go on and on. The handsets I believe are still legal.

>these companies have already been caught using their devices to spy on western citizens
Funny enough, there is no evidence of that.

Any source for this claim? There is no evidence of a backdoor on Huawei products despite the claims of the NSA.

>current phone is Huawei
>previous phone was ZTE

>What actual communist policies have they instituted? They don’t even have socialized medicine
Supposedly it's their end goal, they say they will have basic universal healthcare and they are exploring marxists ideals. Having said that, it's probably best to take the "I'll believe it when I see it approach."

>Because China has a law from 2016 requiring their companies to aid the government.
In cases of terrorism, the exact same law we have (The Patriot Act).

everytime i hear an American bitch about how trade is so unfair to them i wonder why have they not taken it to the WTO? why not take China to the WTO for all your grievances? it's the same shit you did to us when trade doesn't go your way and you know you're wrong. you make unilateral decisions and ignore the WTO. plug your ears up and scream they are cheating us without providing any proof to any arbitrating panel.

your shit is tiresome, stop blocking WTO judges you faggots.

Because of bunch of these posters are PRC fanboy diaspora or 50 cent army. No one else cares.

>everyone I disagree with is a shill!

>In cases of terrorism, the exact same law we have (The Patriot Act).
That must be why Apple didnt unlock phones for the FBI. Could you also provide me with the section?

csiweb.com/industries-we-serve/financial-institutions/regulatory-compliance/federal-regulations/usa-patriot-act

The Apple case was not pursued under a case of terrorism. Hence they did not need to comply.

every fucking day

multiple threads about this, it makes no sense

what is there to disagree with?
don't answer, I don't care

they didn't have to because the FBI gave up and found another way to unlock it. but there was a legal court order for apple to unlock it.

CCP shillbot army is in overdrive lately.

Well we have.

wto.org/english/news_e/news18_e/ds542rfc_26mar18_e.htm

They've just started bringing the industrial espionage cases. After they are handled it would be brought to the WTO. China was allowed into the WTO as a developing nation with some sketchy at best allowances. If they dont break these shitty agreements then there is nothing the WTO will do but it still doesnt change the fact they aren't fair.

No one else actually cares there is no point to these threads. Americans generally dont by chink phones anyways. The moto I last had was so buggy I bought a galaxy. It's just a shill circle jerk and when points are brought up you tards ignore them.

right, so stop cockblocking the judges so it can actually get arbitrated now. China is still a developing nation, their per capita gdp is less then the world average.

Which Apple fought. Huawei isnt going to have that ability and given their ties I doubt they'd even see the need to unless it would destroy their business.

and apple would've lost anyways since a valid court order can essentially allow the government to ransack your entire house. it's the same shit, all governments can compel companies in their countries to do their bidding by making laws.

The court still functions with 3 judges so why are you pretending it doesn't? Trump is blocking the reappointment of the 4th, cases still go on.
>China is still a developing nation, their per capita gdp is less then the world average.
The average person but the government, industry and upper class are well beyond that. They shouldn't need to have access to technology if they are building 5g equipment, hypersonic missiles, cars and carrier based aircraft.

Attached: 50cent-300x225.png (300x225, 129K)

All samefag. All chink.

B-but free market is only when the USA profits!

The key difference being that the US government can't simply arrest Tim Cook because they feel like it and put him in a labor camp for 15 years where he has to pick vegetables and read mandatory political propaganda. Not so in China where there's no real rule of law, just the unlimited power of the state.

try again retard

because it has to fuckign deal with all the other disputes and their caseload is fucking full. cockblocking the appoint of judges means less judges to arbitrate the existing backlog you dummy.

the nation includes everyone in the country dude. the average chinaman is still poor as fuck compared to the developed world. your example would be like combining all of Africa as one country and saying 'oh look guys they can afford some nice stuff, they are developed now even though on average they are poor af'

Attached: boop.png (685x1362, 94K)

But I can be kidnapped by the USA and taken to the black site. Oh wow I am so much happier now.

by the way, there are 7 judges normally. 3 is minimum to arbitrate. you guys have been cock blocking the reappointment for a long time.

It's amazing how China has mastered capitalism so well. State capitalism, when well executed, is literally perfect.

Not for telling us to fuck off and they also cant do it to U.S. citizens. Dont you think someone like Snowden would have dissappeared.

oh no?
capitalism is enmeshed with totalitarianism.

guy, you literally drone struck an American citizen without due process. you would if you could but he's in Russia.

>Said US citizen headed a terrorist network it's drastically different than arresting Tim Cook for not cooperating but keep moving the goalpost.
>US is in capable of kidnapping or assassinating people in foreign countries.
We can and have done both

Another day, another leaf furiously spamming chink propaganda.

Weird how left pol lite get planned centralized economy and free market mixed up all the time.

I read an article here. An expert / experts were asked if Huaweii put back doors in their products. The answer was yes or it's likely. But the expert(s) also said that the Americans would do exactly the same.

Honestly, I didn’t know about these companies until Trump started to discuss them. People exclusively use Samsung or Apple phones, with LG, Motorola, HTC, and Google acting as the low grade phones.

Wasn't the intel cpu shit about alphabet soup agencies old backdoor being revealed?
