why does it even matter? his commits are not being deleted unlike the ones of any other person not knowing their shit. employee or not is just the question of does he get paid or not and does he have working contract which is totally irrelevant to the fact that he's contributing to the project in a way that the core team seems to appreciate.
so what's your angle here? dimroc's job seems done for now - who knows, i'm buying.
