why does it even matter? his commits are not being deleted unlike the ones of any other person not knowing their shit. employee or not is just the question of does he get paid or not and does he have working contract which is totally irrelevant to the fact that he's contributing to the project in a way that the core team seems to appreciate.
so what's your angle here? dimroc's job seems done for now - who knows, i'm buying.

I know Dimitri personally. He's contracted to work on the code as instructed by Steve. He hasn't been doing any commits this month because he's took some time off because he doesn't really believe in the project anymore. He was initially an investor (from here actually) but once he joined the team he realized how little they had done. Apparently Sergey really only communicates with Steve on a regular basis, and the rest of the team has no clue when they'll have a product even close to resembling a mainnet. I sold my bags after Dimitri told me he sold his.
