>and then after seeing how popular it is, politicians ban it by name

Best one was the indian territory one. Where Native americans would set up shop selling guns on indian territory where state laws dont apply.

They didn't ban featureless grips or quick receiver opening AR's yet. Those are specifically loophole products.

uuuuntil CA prohibits firearms capable of shooting more than one round in three minutes. You probably have about 3 - 5 years to run with this business plan before your time is up.

And maybe even in 5.56, but a little smaller and lighter, with detachable magazines, and have Ruger make it.

Hipoint tried it and it still failed in Cali because it looked like shit. If it's cheaply made people will post vids online on how cheap it is. Plus you have to have it be approved on the roster.

>nuke California
>major capital of the US left dies
>????
>profit

its stupid. if you dont make it to at least milspec with interchangeable parts everyone will say it garbage. not to mention the tiny market these really have. Sure people think there cool but they arnt planning on spending $1,100 to feel like theyre in a battlefield video game (except you Jow Forums)

Besides how cheap can you really make something like that, i dont think its possible to have them any cheaper than $5-600 MSRP.

You're just overestimating the market for something like this (cheap reproduction) the people who want m1/m14's have the money to buy them as is.

Something like a luger po4 or Mauser pistol might do ok though in the $400 price range.

HA, good fucking luck with trying to figure that one out.
Even that retarded .22LR M1 Garand made by Kingston, which is way less complex, is more expensive than a surplus one from the CMP.
