Ruger Mini Thirty vs Mini 14 in 300 Blackout

how so?

>ftf with steel case

Huh. I've never used anything but steel in my mini-30.

I have a 181 series mini-30 from 25 years ago. I had to dremmel and buff the non-existant feed ramp due to the fact the gun was engineered to only feed from OEM 5 rnd mags. I hope the 500 series is better. I suggest a stainless Mini so that corrosive ammo is less of a concern

I personally would get a Mini 30 in 7.62x39 because I have 2 rifles in that caliber already and a shit ton of it.

Ah ok I thought you were saying they both were
That’s good to hear
I’ve heard they are much better but would get stainless anyway
Part of the reason I made this thread is because I wanted to see people’s general opinions because I didn’t want to just be swayed by something similar- I already have the Ruger American Ranch in 7.62x39 and a couple Mini Thirty mags for it. So the comparable magazines is really the main thing for me. Seeing as most people seem to think it’s overall a better choice over the 300blckout is extra reassurance for me.

Mini-14 in .300BLK I suppose.
If you collect and convert your .223 brass, it'll work great for reloading.

They sell suppressor ready ones.

Fuck off, spergboy.

Pre-2005 rifles are pretty wonky and shoddy, the difference between them and 580 or 581 series rifles are like night and day.

Well if you already have the magazines and the ammo, that's definitely more appealing.
The .300BLK is more interesting if you're also interesting in suppressing it.

Id get an AR15
