> gay ass stainless steel. wut? depending on the type of stainless, it should be more corrosive resistant. and, due to stainless's heat resistance should be more accurate at range. please elaborate upon your dislike of stainless..?

>notable difference Nope. What brand and model are you looking at?

Why not just swap out the barrel of it's that offensive
He's a battle rifle tard, and so he bases all of his decisions on either how cool something looks or how "manly" it is. Utility and practicality are completely foreign concepts to him and his ilk.

You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about.
Stainless is just fuckin ugly. i just simply dont like it.
I like the finish of my rifles all black and it sticks out like a sore thumb. Also if s-ever-htf, its very reflective and visable.

>ugly No thanks I dont want your benefits package.
Right, because everything in the world is wrong with something looking nice even though they do literally the same thing. Fuckoff retard.

There is a volume difference. 18" Is loud, 16" is very loud.

Speaking of AR-10s what’s the difference between different pattern AR10 lowers? DPMS/PSA, etc?
Isaac Brown
Parts compatibility. Some uppers have a curved cut and some have an angled cut. DPMS lowers flare out where they meet the upper and Aero uppers are thinner there, so it looks like ass.

You either have DPMS pattern rifles or ARMALITE.
Armalite only takes armalite brand shit. They are the more rare version of ar10. The mags are pricier and harder to find. Most of everything (mp, db, dpms,) are a DPMS pattern ar10. The mags are much more common and compatible with different shit.
As for the actual rifle and parts themselves- you will have to look at the rifles, their construction, and the actual parts themselves. For me, I wanted either the MP 10 or the DB 10. (I also fought the decision between diamondback and smith/wes for my ar15 and went diamondback)
Some manufacturers have different parts construction, different bolt assemblies, and different barrel length and construction.
For me, what i got sold on was the receiver. I went around to many shops and shows fingerfucking the armas and sw10s for a while. The receivers are almost identical to an ar15, except just a *little* beefier.
Then I finally got to look at the DB. The receiver is almost a completely new design. It has ALOT more metal in places that would be liable to take more stresses from the full power of real fuckin nato. I really like the design and placement of everything they did, just unfortunate they made them 16" barrels.
The company also said they did this to make an extreme heavy duty receiver that can take the stresses, and anything else you might throw at it. Its only like 8 pounds.
How are the KACs btw? Ive always considered one, but im a pretentious sadist that went the full custom m14 route for my semi auto long range. Got me a nice chassis bolt rifle though for my real long range stuff. Just kinda tinkering with the idea of getting an 18in or 14in sr25 kac.

Use black crinkle coat paint to make it like the black throbbing cock you secretly desire so much.

that's the original configuration from the 90's except for the stock, i just got the top pic upper the other day. Also because it's like .5 moa at the 200 yards I've been able to take it. It's just the one rifle
i haven't shot mine much yet, something like 150 rounds through the 24" upper and I'm only shooting the 16" for the first time this weekend but they're generally considered the best ar-10 variant
