What's the best 9mm 1911?

>HUuUuUuUuRRrR get a hipower!
Nogunz on a war path I see.

I've got a Springfield loaded 1911 9mm. I like it a lot. It is never going to be my carry gun or whatever but it is fun.

them rock island jobbers. Pick one.

oh fuck off. Who carries a 1911 as a ccw? If "stopping power" is really your biggest concern, what kind of fucking situation are you going to be using this in?

Maybe if you're in BEAR COUNTRY or MOOSE but if you're just shooting for fun a smaller caliber is just easier and more accurate. Also, if it shares the same ammo type as your other guns that makes it so much more convenient than having to get 45auto JUST for your 1911.

I want one in 9mm just because I have to carry less ammo types.

Lol no, you've never heard of Cabot have you?

Fyi lord J.M.Bs intention was a 38 caliber pistol. It was only the us army that made 45. A requirement.
And we know from history that the US always chooses the wrong caliber to standardize

38 super/9mm 1911 is what it should have been

Springfield is making some of the best models. But if we go down the Hi-power path we wind up looking at CZ's and such.
