Pretty retarded question bros. Where can I read up on these positions like 19k, 11b, 17c etc.? The generic websites tell me fuck all about anything and I'm considering army or Marines. I keep blowing off this army recruiter that keeps harassing me at work. I work in a mall and he sees me all the time when walking through. I know you guys will help if I have something specific in mind but I really don't :(

Not him, but he asked a prettybasic question that we always ask new dudes out to better guide them. Those numbers reflect general career area and the letters designate the specialty in that job area. For example, 11 is infantry, 12 engineering, 13 artillery, 14 air defense, 15aviation,18 special forces, 19 armor, 35 intel, 92 logistics, etc. Letters differentiate job specialties like, 11a is infantry officer, 11b infantryman,11c indirect fire(mortar) infantryman.
