Is this true?

Russian gear is better than western gear
Yes/No?

Ratnik kit is a a shitty knockoff of mid 2000s US gear so what do you think?

Not really, all of their spec ops are using western gear or copies of western gear for a reason. That digiflora sure is sexy though.

I think the real question is, why does no one make blued guns anymore, and yet every other gun on the market is parkerized? Why shouldn't I be able to buy a gun that is more resistant to rust and looks elegant? An extra hundred dollars wouldn't bother me if that's what it takes.

To expand upon my point, the most visible AK in your picture actually has an EOTech and an AR stock. It makes sense that the private market of enthusiasts in the US would produce better options than any government.

people only like russian gear for it's aesthetics

western gear is the GOAT for functionality, versatility, and build quality

How does Russian body armor compare to IBA, IOTV, MTV etc?

Whatever the case they just got socks a few years ago so they're obviously catching up. I bet the mutts are scared.

old soviet gear, mag pouches, ect are great quality.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... NO! Unless by better gear you mean Cold war holdovers still in circulation!
