Here's all but one of my single actions. I need to take a nicer photo of the Remington conversion.
Single Action Revolver Thread
Uberti Schofield
Cimarron Model P
Uberti 1851 Navy London
Uberti 1847 Walker. I haven't picked up any accessories to go with the Walker yet, so here it is alongside a 4" S&W Model 10 for a size comparison.
Cimarron 1858 Remington Cartridge Conversion. This, the Schofield and Model P are all chambered in .45 Colt.
Here's my last single action revolver - a S&W Model 1-1/2 Second Issue. This is chambered for .32 Rimfire and was made sometime in the early 1870's. Still wearing its original rosewood grips.
It is a tip-up revolver, so the cylinder is removed to load it. The rod under the barrel is used to poke out the fired cases.
Always a good thread when you show up. Have you ever had to deal with a stuck base pin on a true SAA copy? My Friend has a uberti copy I believe and that thing is fucking frozen
Hey, total /nogunz/ here, getting ready to buy my first gun this tuesday. I like the idea of revolvers so I figured this would be the thread to ask. I'm getting pic related, is there anything I need to know about for my initial purchase? I'm already getting a case, ear protection, and eye protection. Are there any basic maintenance products I should pick up day 1?
If the pic isn't recognizable enough, it's a .22 rough rider. Just something cheap I can practice my aim with before I get something nice.
