Try nofap it is not a meme
>L-theanine
>ashwagandha
>more cardio
>more lifting
>further your career
>spend time with people you love who aren't a bad influence on you
>find a hobby that isn't just watching tv or playing video games, like learning to play an instrument
Has been working for me. My life fell apart after a breakup in the beginning of this year. Felt like an heroing a few times, but the ups have been increasingly up. We're all gonna make it, brah.
fucc a bish and feel good
Taking the red pill and realising it's all about appearance. Work on that
meme
can't do cardio i'm bulking atm friendo, but i will look into the L-theanine and ashwagandha.
Everyone forgot most important - less Jow Forums. Its worse than crack for your sanity.
I've been here since 2008 and got banned for a year once. And this was before you could browse but not be able to post. Did nothing for me.
Too jaded to realize how much Jow Forums fucked your mind.
Here's an easy few steps to put your sorry bitch ass on the right track:
>sleep at consistent times
>sleep at good times (e.g. bed by 10 up by 6)
>quit substances of all kinds. Reserve alcohol for friends
>workout 5 times a week and ensure you do your cardio
>find hobbies and do at least one every single day
Learning an instrument, learning languages, learning how to do underwater basket weaving, rock climbing, horse riding, whatever, just make sure you do one every day. Vidya, TV/movies, and reading don't count.
>talk to one person every single day, even if it's just a clerk at a store and you say 2 words to them
>leave your house at least once a day. leaving to go to the gym doesn't count
>also find a job if you don't have one
>quit browsing Jow Forums because I guarantee you're just sinking time into this site and gaining next to no real benefit
>consistent sleep schedule
>clean home / practice hygiene
>healthy diet - no junk food, proper amounts of micronutrients and macronutrients. i recommend cronometer
>going outside for at least 10 minutes a day
>keep room well illuminated / proper sunlight
>supplements: ashwaghanda, maca, rhodiola rhosea
>don't drink alcohol or do drugs
>meditate daily, go pirate headspace off of piratebay
>daily exercise
>cut out people from your life that are holding you back
Both correct
Also: martial arts. Lifting is nice but my mental health has improved greatly since I got back into pic rel8ed. There is no confidence/T boost like defeating a man in hand-to-hand combat.
It balances you and brings you an awareness of what self-mastery really is. It's not necessarily a bigger deadlift. It's your total mental/physical fitness as displayed in fights/matches. Life is more like fighting than lifting, basically
Psychotherapy 2x week for a couple of years with a competent therapist (very hard to find)
>competent therapist
Pic unrelated I assume?
Jow Forums ruined me no doubt about it
I need this but like you said, very hard to find
Back when I was a NEET I made major gains in just a few weeks when my mom made me herbs job as a cashier. It forces you to interact with people, even flirt a little if your good looking.
Definitely a meme. Noporn is goat though.
I actually found that visiting Jow Forums somewhat regularly helped keep me more disciplined. It's kind of a reminder I can always do better. Keeps me thinking about fitness stuff. It's a decent influence if you aren't looking to shit post 24/7

The mental equivalent of workouts. I know it's anecdotal evidence but I had reached a point where I was unable to focus on anything because of constant anxieties and I don't know where I would be now if not for one of those workbooks.
What if I am the person holding me back?
>Meditate daily.
True answer here brehs.
It'll feel uncomfortable at first. You'll actively want to avoid doing it and find excuses not too but it'll calm your mind. It won't raise your mood ceiling, but it'll raise your mood floor.
Insight timer app is decent
Laughing is also good for mental health.
Any workout is good for mental health. Always remind yourself you are a capable human and better than others if you can be a healthy person
Same, Jow Forums can keep you motivated.
Is ashwagandha safe to take everyday? Are there any withdrawl effects? I hear it makes you lethargic. Is it temprorary lethargy? I feel lethargic at times and im not even taking it yet so im scared of becoming a permanent zombie.
Walking.
Been taking it for a few days now with theanine. Feels great, but I dunno what the long term implications are. I drink coffee pretty much every day, so during the day I don't feel groggy, but I would say that by the end of the day after the caffeine wears off I am tired as hell compared to the mild insomnia I had before. For me overall, this is a plus because it lets me adhere to a better sleep schedule.
>I feel lethargic at times and im not even taking it yet so im scared of becoming a permanent zombie.
dude I was the same and felt like shit ALL THE TIME when I was depressed. I could literally try anything to ease it, and I almost did except really shit tier drugs.
all drugs I took were just temporary fixes that made the problem worse except:
hard:
MDMA maximum 3 times a year
LSD in a good set and setting with clear intentions etc
bonus mention: 2CB
supplementary that you can to a certain extent use regularly without withdrawals (these have long term benefits):
Ashwaghandha (been taking it once a day for a month now and feel more energized and clear minded, slightly less anxiety
Phenibut (max twice a week): been doing it for 3 months on days I'm very active. It's amazing desu. Phenibut for me just enhances everything a little, hard to describe really since it's subtle but I'm definitely mood uplifted and calm yet alert.
LSD microdose: about twice a week but this is not neurotoxic at all, although tolerance can raise (like phenibut) if you take too often: 20ug: less social anxiety, more energized, more creative, more appreciation of music and nature
this is subjective of course, but I really recommend you try these.
it's also important you take the MD with good friends that know "the real you". If you take it with the wrong people, you'll become best friends during the roll and the next day you'll be back to square one since you're now both sober. That shit sucks.
To be fair this is pretty much true with all hard drugs if you want to use them for some form of self improvement
Positive nihilism, meditation, no porn, interacting with strangers & aypproaching with outcome independence (you walk past people er day who could have positive impacts on your life), eating well, lifting... You are the only constant in your life, live for yourself
