I am helplessly addicted to fast food, and I don't have a fridge to keep perishables in
Lost 50 lbs here. Don't try to quit fast food forever. It's clearly been established that you're too weak for that.
What you need to do is eat more meals. Meals filled with protein and a shit ton of veggies. It doesn't have to be a bunch of shit you don't like but it has to be something. Honestly I hate most vegetables other than spinach but I can eat spinach every day of the week. It nice and crunchy and honestly doesn't even have much of a taste to it. Other than that eat lean grilled protein. Chicken, Salmon, Tuna, Turkey even beef and pork on rare occasions. No carbs. Make this the mainstay of your meals and eat 3 of them a day.
Now your fourth meal? Eat whatever the fuck you want and take out one aspect of it. Love burger meals? Eat the burger and soda but no fries. Or eat burger and fries but water instead of soda. Then go to the gym and run it off or lift it off within an 1-2 hours so you can burn the carbs.
That's all I did everyday and I lost 50 lbs in 6 months.
Not OP but I eat chinese takeout maybe 3-4 times a week. What works for me is that the takeout is the restaurant is a buffet and gives me a takeout dish and soup container. I always fill the soup container with fruit, 3/4 of the container with uncooked vegetables, 1/4 for meats, and fill in any empty space with rice. I guess it works, between this and working out I've been losing 2-3 pounds a week.
I get bloatmaxx by at least 3 lbs everytime I eat chinese. DAMN YOU SHRIMP BROCCREE
