Physiologically, it would be better to stick to the snake juice. But realistically just do whatever works for you, man. It's like the diet sodas. Sure they probably aren't ideal, but still better than having something packed with sugar.

Honestly just eat what you feel like but eating healthy overall is much better. While doing fasts for my meals I do eat to break the fasts I try to stick to very low carb/keto meals. The point of fasting is to keep your insulin low so breaking a fast with a good keto meal with a lot of fat and moderate protein gives you all the nutrients you need while still keeping the spike to a minimum. Also, when preparing for my fast I ate keto for 1 week prior to get my insulin low and get me more fat-adapted so the transition to fasting was much easier with lessened hunger pains and a more stable mood for the first couple of days where things can go a bit haywire.

V unimportant stuff actually V ---------------------- so i broke my 16 days fast after getting really weak in the legs. i am at 12% bodyfat but i have almost no fat on my legs anymore and most of it is in my tits.
ii was planning to break it anyway since i had dinner at my fathers, when i woke up i ate 400g of broccoli 400g of green beans 1 cucumber 1 apple and my 400g fermented sauerkraut. i steamed the veggies and cut up everything in small pieces i could eat with chopsticks. i started eating around 5:30 because i could not sleep.
i finished the cucumber apple and green beans by 7:00 and started making the broccoli for lunch. i ended up eating that also. before work i bought 2 apples and ate those before 12:00 and another cucumber. then i finally restrained myself and waited painfully before dinner.
at dinner i ate like 4-5 eggs and a bunch of bacon. main course was soup (i was smart enough to ask for that) i did eat like 300g bread with it though. -------------------------------------------------- you can ignore most of that actually.
my main problem is that this Friday we have an all you can eat buffet and i was gonna fast Wednesday and thursday. then i decided to just eat sauerkraut, then i decided to try and make it taste better by adding bacon.
but today was sunny and i was not cold for once and my legs started feeling better. so i walked around and ate stuff. how bad is it? so far i am at -100g cheese - 3 apples - 2 pears - 1 prume - large piece of watermelon - 2 manderins - and i am still want to eat my sauerkraut with bacon for the gut health
but most important i ate at like 11:30 i didnt even OMAD it.
now i am already thinking about eating some nice fruits and cheese tomorrow late in the morning.
I’ve not exactly been binge eating, just eating whatever dinner I want (which is pretty fucking convenient since I actually went out to dinner with friends). I figured out pretty quickly that coffee is a good way to get you through the morning and just start hydrating like a motherfucker afterwards. Been at it for 2 weeks now and down 3 kg.
Currently considering getting into keto OMAD with some meal prep or just skip that altogether and go for a minimum of a 7 day fast (or just going OMAW). Currently doing very little weight lifting, mostly boxing which is heavy enough; I guess I can miss a weeks worth of sessions (3 times a week usually). On OMAD training isn’t an issue, but with anything longer than 48 hours I have the impression that its going to suck. Trying to get down from 200 pounds (moving towns, different jobs, relationship bullshit) back to 165 (about 2,5 years ago). So far OMAD is way better than all the fucking meme-dieting and bullshit meal prep going on.

all the same gaining weight made my back problems even worse the doc says I can go back to do what ever I used to do but I need long term re-hab exercise but the most important thing is TO LOSE WEIGHT RIGHT NOW, I've been severely thinking about going OMAD with NO CARBS but the hunger sensation always defeats me and I end up eating something high carb

Start with a 48 hour fast now, don't think about stocking up on calories just do it. It is a daunting task when you first start but it only gets easier; when you start doing 48+ hour fasts the hunger sensation actually goes away (not meming) and the only thing you are left with is the cravings for food (very similar to the cravings one gets for a cigarette). You will be dropping weight like crazy and in no time you will be banging out the 7+ day fasts like nothing. Once you get your body used to tapping into the massive amount of calories you have stored on your body it becomes a breeze - not to mention the brain and energy gains that come with fasting.
Not only did OMAD get easier after about a week for me, it made me hungry for healthier foods.
I used to eat junk 5 times a week for dinner, now I come home and feel like preparing nutritious food. It was not even a consious decision, I just felt like having healthy food one day. I still eat junk every once in a while, but I've gotten pretty good at cookibg over the last few months

Now i'm gonna get there in about 2 months from tomorrow and a few days, so a total of 3. If you're not in a rush you can do only what i did in the beginning and you won't even feel like you're dieting. There's a bonus if you are like me and like chicken breast. I feel hungry every second of the day now, but every morning there is a huge difference on the scale so my will is iron.
