What does it take to get to 5pl8 deadlift?

>What does it take to get to 5pl8 deadlift?
I got there on Texas Method so just trying hard, nuckcuck

Is 1x5 ones a week enough? Seems minimalistic af

>deadlift has gone from 210kg to 240kg in 6 weeks by doing an @11 amrap once a week with progressively overloaded aggression, shouting, and ammonia a la Bugenhagen

Attached: 1510713974720.gif (480x264, 1.88M)

Probably not for most, but the 'just try hard' point is what you should be focussing on.

Is Bugez really natty?

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 113K)

How to try harder?

>WAWTT?
1x5, 1x, 1x3-5, 4x2, 1x5-8, 1x8-10, 1x10-12, 1x12+ close grip paused bench
5-10x3-6 chin-ups depending on how well I've recovered since earlier this week

A lot of this is auto regulated

eat more, sleep more, take steroids, eat vitamin d, massage yourself, drink more water, take more salt, do more volume, read books on training, have sex, love life...

I hate life though

Daily 5k units of vit d3 reminder

Thank me later

So how does /plg/ match up with this?

Post current and goal
>height
>weight

Attached: boristwinkterrorist.jpg (734x401, 73K)

>185cm
>111kg

Goal is 125-130

I'm 174cm and 65kg, Boris says 100kg but my stomach says no.

>not understanding set point

I had to force feed myself most of the way to where i am now, and now my body just makes me hungry enough to stay at 110+

Stay at a weight for a while and your body will want to keep you there, if youre not eating enough the body will produce ghrelin to make you hungry to eat enough

174 80kg high body fat but ideally want to be jacked 90kg. Whats the best way of doing it?

So what you're saying is that if I'm gaining from 60 to 90/100 it's good to maintain for a bit every 5 kilos or so, so my body gets used to being that weight and gaining is easier in the future?

186cm
100(ish)kg
Without drugs would take a good few years to gain 10kg and not Isley myself.

dentists are free tho ????????

watch out you might get leptin resistant and accidently get up to 130+

>posting the shooped version
Nice job idiot.

Attached: notwinks.jpg (734x401, 73K)

Are you on benefits ? Or do you live in an irrelevant country because all the relevant countries (US,Canada, NZ, Aus, UK) you pay for dentistry.

Why is it so fucking slow in here today? Cmon fuckers shit post more and entertain me

Imagine calling yourself relevant and not having free healthcare. I bet you also pay for education lmao

>be me
>pick up lifting 6 months ago
>do everything but squats because of giant femurs and a tiny torso because i'm a bitch

lifts have been developing nicely, i've hit a bench just past 2plate and i'm gonna hit a 4plate deadlift either this 4-week cycle or next. i've been alternating nuckols intermediate 2 and 3 day routines for these depending on my schedule for the month.

for the past month i've been trying to pick up squats and so far i've managed some shitty singles at 2plate and worksets at 180 lbs. the other day i picked up some oly shoes to counteract my godawful proportions and i've been trying to work on hitting parallell with good form

my question is, given that squats are mandatory if i ever want to do an amateur pl comp for laffs and because my deadlift will stall out if i don't start on leg training, what the best route to go is regarding my squats?

question 1: i'm currently weighing between focusing on doing high bar squats to parallell which feel fairly alright at the moment, or on going for low bar squats for the sake of moving more weight although i'm less comfortable at the moment

question 2: should i be trying to milk some starting strength-esque program and do linear progression, or hop on this other program that i found which entails doing slightly lighter squats in the 5-rep range for a greater amount of sets up to 4 days a week also adding weight linearly, paired with occasional solid form heavy singles? the purpose of this would basically be forcing me to develop better form, since doing 3x5 linearly with my currently sloppy form will only have me break down every time it gets heavy. i'd dial down deadlift volume and focus on maintenance for the duration.

feel free to call me a retard etc

answers appreciated boyos

If only!

So you're irrelevant then.

fuck off NuckCuck

Post your routine for bench and diddy, thinking about ditching squat for now as well

>waaaaaaah my femurs too long

Dancing is a great way to complement powerlifting desu. Improves flexibility, doesn't wreck recovery, helps with conditioning if you're one of those "5 repetitions means i'm doing it for reps" powerfatters.

Lmao miss.me with that gay shit

it's out of greg nuckols 28 free programs my dude

are you an ACTION MAN?

height 187cm
current weight: 87kg
goal weight: 120kg

>because my deadlift will stall out if i don't start on leg training

who told you this

if anything it's easier to progress your deadlift if you put squats on the backburner/don't do squats, more lower back recovery tokens you can put in deadlift

>what the best route to go is regarding my squats?
i'd suggest putting the barbell on your back and bending your knees

>i'd suggest putting the barbell on your back and bending your knees
I wish it was that easy :(

>feel free to call me a retard etc
Replace barbell squats with goblet squats. 100 per session. Increase weight every session. Fix your squat.

>WAWTT?
Not really sure. Possibly OHP or deadlifts.

>WAWET?
Crispbread with sliced ham, cheese, tomatoes and cucumber. Also some tuna.

>WAWLTT?
Norm MacDonald.

>WAWFT?
Okay.

it is that easy, my femurs are considerably longer than my torso and i'm 6'4", it will not prevent you from squatting if you want to squat (unless your anthropometry is so fucked up that you physically can't which i know can happen but i'm 99% certain is not you)

that doesn't mean it's necessarily a good idea if you don't compete though, you probably won't get too much out of back squats for your quads and you'll rack up more minor injuries/oooh owies with squats than with all the other lifts combined, but that's life as a femurcuck ime

Stop bitching you twink

apt makes your femur longer

So I was thinking if your test is at the highest in mornings should't it be the best to lift in mornings?

natural test levels are literally a meme. also thats not how hormones work

For sure bro i even set an alarm at 4am thats when my test spikes so i go right to squats first thing after waking up good thing i have a homegym

Your test doesn't fluctuate enough to make it worthwhile. Most people tend to be stronger in the afternoon too.

I read from that McGill guy that your spine is has the least amount of fluids or some gay shit for the first few hours after waking up, and late at night, so it puts you under a little more risk lifting just after waking up.

Need to gain about 50 lbs evidently...

>Most people tend to be stronger in the afternoon too.
Why is that? More energy from food eaten through the day?

Almost bang on. Hate being this size

anyone here supplement zinc? Noticed any difference? I used to get crippling headaches after longer workouts (2+ hours, high volume) that wouldn't go away until the next day, but ever since I started on the zinc they've stopped.

>So I was thinking if your test is at the highest in mornings
I really don't think it matters.

I think lifting in the morning is a good way to start your day. Same for conditioning. I like having it done before the sun is up so I don't spend my day worrying about it.

It's nice to free that afternoon time up for being with friends and family and taking care of obligations.

For a natty it's impossible.

I do, makes me cum more but thats pretty much it. Vit d3 tho now thats a game changer 6000units minimum every day.

I used to sup both 5000 UI Vit D and 3 ZMA tabs a day (however much that was)

nothing has changed since I ran out of money to keep buying them lol

I need to bring my deadlift up fast, can I pull 3 x week?

Attached: A8E031AC-B1F1-4673-891C-4BEE008D60BB.jpg (1036x575, 120K)

6000 IU? That's a lot. What differences have you noticed? I only get around 10-20 minutes of sun a day anyway so could be useful

that's how I felt about fish oil. ZMA is an interesting case though as some chemists say the formulation is actually useless even if you're deficient

Maybe you're one of lucky guys whos not vit d defficent. I went from i want to die to i love life in a few months since mega dossing vit d

I’m considering sumo and conventional every other day. Will I die?

>thats a lot
Not at all my mom recently blood tested(shes a nurse) some guy who took 15000 and he was fine.
Look here

>I need to bring my deadlift up fast
Don't be irresponsible. What if your disc shoots out and hits somebody in the eye, nuckcuck?

Attached: 1454877190259.jpg (876x692, 130K)

My coach says more is better, so does my gf. Is it true?

I supp 50mg zinc and 10000 iu of vitamin d each day. I don't know if it helps, but it makes sex better.

Greg Nuckols deadlift programs were shit for me.

t. GDE twink

Attached: Deadlift 525x1.webm (720x1280, 2.8M)

Thats nuckcuck? I thought thats sean.

nice gyno

Fish oil, 4000IU vit d, and creatine master race

Oh yeah that too since i started taking zinc my dick is more sensitive and harder.

What about 1x5 every other day?

Unless you're a beginner, that'd be shit too.

Also should I periodizate it? 1x10, 1x8, 1x5 and 1x3?

fuck off NuckCuck

I’m at 4pl8, I need to bring it up to atleast 5pl8 to compete.

It took me about 2 years to get from 405 to 525, so don't except it to be quick. Unless you're a fat shit who just recently started lifted, I wouldn't recommend just 1x5s.

Why are people advocating 5x1 dead instead of 3x5 or 5x5 ?

I’m at 170ibs, what do you recommend?

Food and volume.

1x5 every other day, and increasing a set every stall? What about periodization?

Most uninspired basic "advice" possible

Gym got a new full set of Eleiko plates, lads. Got to try them out yesterday.

The longer I've been lifting, the more I've realized that food, volume, and trying hard are the best things to make progress.

Attached: Deadlift 464x2.webm (720x1280, 2.79M)

Aka you don't know anything about lifting but want to still give anecdotal advice

Wow aren't you special, I've never seen someone quite like you

If you ask any strong natty, I bet they'll tell you the same thing. Food and volume are the keys to progress.

Someone who's spent 1 day in the gym could tell you that.

I'm saying, if you had any reading comprehension whatsoever, that you're a brainlet who knows nothing about lifting weights and gives the most basic, child-like advice.

Don't get offended bro I'm just giving you the cold hard truth your father never could

Alex is right tho. Lifting is a fucking joke 50iq bros are benching 3pl8s for reps without any knowledge simply because they eat train bench every day and try hard to impress stacy.

>tfw 75kg 2x20 wide grip bench
My chest is dying and finally my wide grip bench is catching up to close grip.

damn nice. You've increased your dead quite a lot since I was last on here.
What are you lifts are now?

What on earth kind of person decides to take the time to make a post like this lol.

>you're a brainlet who knows nothing about lifting weights and gives the most basic, child-like advice.
Lifting weights is not complicated.

Simple, childlike advice is the best advice 99% of the time. The problem is that lifting gets difficult, and pussies get distracted, get ADHD, and start looking for ways to make excuses for not trying hard.

Alex works hard.

Disposing some Norman khan

Can’t give a play by Play right now

It’s a juicy one tho

Bye!

It's advice that 99% of people need to hear. Change 'eat more' to 'eat better' and it works for fatties too.
