I think we found the problem here as to why you look like shit
If you eat 1000 calories and do 0 physical activity you will lose fat, correct, but you will lose practically all of your muscle mass as well.
Try eating ~200-300 calories under maintenance and doing a light cardio and calisthenics routine for a while.
That way you keep whatever muscle mass you have and lose as much fat as possible

Would walking every day at a decent speed for about 1 hour and half a decent cardio-like activity?
My problem is that i feel a bit too depressed to keep going to the gym, so i'm settling down to just not wanting to look fat.
