Have you thought about your ROI from lifting?
Have you thought about your ROI from lifting?
Like your body will grow but how will it affect your life exactly? And will that effect be worth the time and effort?
If you spend 1 hour a day on exercise (lifting + cardio) and another extra half hour on proper nutrition as opposed to eating anything that comes to hand, that's 10% of your waking life being invested in your body. What returns do you think you'll get from it?
The Republic Of Ireland is great and all I just don't know what it has to do with fitness
Estimated money spent:
Home gym (one-time investment) $800ish
Roids (just test) - $150/yr
Vitamins/protein - $300/yr
Gym membership - $240/yr
Estimated money saved:
Not going to bars - $2,400/yr
Eating home-made meals - $10,000/yr
Buying cheap clothes/shoes because everything looks good on me now - $500/yr
Not having to splurge on girls to make them want to fuck me - $4,000/yr
Yah man... what a lousy ROI. Let's not even think about the longer life span, ability to enjoy myself later in life, all of the sex and attention, the positive attitude which comes from confidence, the advancement in career because I'm more likable, etc....
I lift for two hours on Monday and Thursday, I run for 30 minutes on Tuesday and Friday, I do core exercises for 45 minutes on Wednesday and Saturday and I go to the gym on Sundays to do deads and squats for 45 mins and then tanning bed. The amount of things that this replaced in my life which were a total waste of time more than compensate so I have more free time than ever before.
>longer life span
>ability to enjoy myself later in life
Obviously hasn't happened yet.
>Not having to splurge on girls to make them want to fuck me - $4,000/yr
>all of the sex and attention
>advancement in career
Has this happened already or are you merely expecting it?
He needs to wear glasses to hide those ugly eyes. Also a thicker neck.
>Roids (just test) - $150/yr
Wat
You make your own or something?
a 20% longer lifespan, with a greater portion spent in good health so I can actually enjoy my later years instead of pathetically withering at 50
