Digesting fats releases certain hormones that tell you to stop eating, also protein and fat take a longer time to process leading to a longer-lasting feeling of satiety.

Yeah because it's the biggest factor at play when it comes to feeling full lmao.
That and variety in taste, I can eat cheese or fatty meat forever and not feel full, but beans or rice or quinoa or potatos make me feel full at about half of the calories I would feel full at on fatty meat or fatty dairy.
Keep in mind white potatos have basically no fiber, and they're still the most satiating food there is.
