Went to the bar to watch my team play with my family today. Ate wings and 2 slices of pizza. It wasnt even worth it, my team lost and now I feel like shit for going over

Just made lunch for tomorrow:
4oz boneless skinless chicken thighs
5oz broccoli
1oz almonds
8oz greek yogurt (plain)
Total: 524 kcal. 16g carbs, 21g fat, 62g protein

Thoughts?

whats the app?

dont drink, kids

Cronometer.

Ive been getting better at recognizing that I'm actually not hungry and that I can just leave a meal unfinished. Its a good feeling.

Attached: buhbi.png (727x582, 187K)

i don't into burger units very well but it sounds good to me, just be careful with nuts

pic is euro-units.

peanuts are like crack to me but I seem to do okay with almonds, since I don't really like them unless i mix them in with the yogurt.

Can I get a % body fat estimate?

Attached: c0a251ad-8aba-4ecb-b0ac-8c648e3d7b5e.jpg (720x720, 55K)

Your % is irrelevant, you look like shit. Fix it.

I'm on my 2nd week of training and will cut sugar off my diet.

Do that and count your calories.

>start of NFL season
>first instinct is to eat salty snacks and drink beer all Sunday
>snacking on grapes instead

pretty good substitute t b h.

Is 169lbs a good goal weight?

Attached: progress.jpg (2430x1160, 484K)

Good for you bro, stay consistent in your training. You'll thank yourself 6 months from now.

depends on height and bf
i could see my abs at that weight

How in the fuck do you have so little loose skin? The most I ever weight was 285 and I had more loose skin at 220 than you do at 194. Currently at 184 and I'm a saggy mess.

How old are you?

get the ol surgery
i got it and im pretty happy

do you see how his gut wasn't hanging down initially?

that's how. his fat was stored differently than yours or mine.

i'm going to have stomach, arms, thighs, and fupa sag. will have to save up for the surgery, no idea how much a whole body loose skin removal costs in Ontario..

How much was it and did you do medical tourism for it?

bout 8k, no but im not american

But what about a % body fat estimate? Last time I measured was 23%.

I'm 35
I'm 6'2". Pic is what body visualizer thinks I would look like, but I think it's being very generous as shown by how it thinks my current weight should look.

Attached: file.png (320x650, 113K)

hit the gym and you could weight even a little bit more

Fast son. I went from 235 to 190 and I have no loose skin so far.

235 is not nearly enough to have loose skin

I would have had loose skin around my stomach, I don't at the moment.

What makes you think that? I've lost over 110lbs and have no loose skin.

But he's right, it looks like shit. At that point measuring % bodyfat is irrelevant. You need to improve everything.

At least you don't seem morbidly obese, that's a start.

Yeah shit. My fat was stored all in my very lower gut. Somehow that dude looked better at 300 lbs than I did at 220.

I already know I'm never going to get the surgery though.

you have to be close to 300 to have any

if it makes you feel better then he probably had or has a lot of visceral fat meaning his organs are fatfucked where as ours weren't. How old are you? I'm going to guess still relatively young, around 20s maybe? or at least you've been fat since an earlier age and packed it on faster.

I don't have a shirtless pic from my actual start date but this is me at 276. The other one is a bad angle because I was trying to keep my arm out of the pic.

I think everybody just carries fat differently. My stomach feels about the same size, but my ass is a lot smaller.

>tomorrow was the day i promised myself i would start going to the gym and lifting weights to lose the fat
>start getting cold feet and feeling self-conscious over the idea of people possibly silently judging
FUCK
I HATE THIS
WHY AM I LIKE THIS

Attached: feelslargeman.jpg (789x750, 85K)

do you judge people when youre out, and if you do do you still remember the person 5 minutes later
its the same for everybody else nobody really gives a shit

Was a healthy weight all through high school. Started gaining after that From age 20 to 25 I went from 200 to 285. Age 25 to 27 I went from 285 to 185, just turned 28 last week, goal right now is 170.

Yeah I never held my weight well. I suppose the skin will probably tighten up on its own at least a little bit over the next few years. Luckily I'm married already so I don't really care that much about looking great without a shirt on. I'd just like to be able to go to the beach without being embarrassed and look good in medium t shirts.

Buy a used stationary bike off of Facebook or Craiglist.
Stationary bikes are perfect for fatties starting their journey.

You deserve to be judged. Remember this. You're wearing your sins. Do your best to shed them.

just go to one of the gyms full of old people at first if you're that much of a bitch

like one for rehabilitation

you can always wear a skinsuit

>going to the gym and lifting weights to lose the fat
Going to the gym and lifting is great and you should definitely do it but your diet is far more important. If you absolutely can't get over your self-consciousness then take a month or two and count your fucking calories like a miser until you have already lost a significant amount of weight and you feel more confident.

by the way don't listen to
sitting on a bike seat kills your erections forever even for fit cyclists, can you imagine what 300 pounds on your cock tube would do?

you can clearly see his giant stomach. I'm pretty sure it isn't organ fat.

Where are the sources

>Lifting 3x a week (doing Lvysaur 4-4-8).
>Doing a cut (500kcal deficit), cutting sugar and alcohol and doing IF (6 hours before bed)
>Sleeping 7 hours a day

My goal's to reach 80kg by next year and then start building some muscles. I hope until then I'll have reached some intermediate lifts and can then add some hypertrophy exercises before going to an intermediate program.
Is this realistic?

?? you gonna honestly tell me you've never cycled for long enough to feel your balls or cock go numb?

>giant

it's really not giant as far as weighing 300 pounds goes.

Then lose the fat first.

And of course they'll judge you. Everyone does at all times. Maybe you need a psychologist if you can accept that.

> No sources
OK buddy

It definitely is, but you need to implement all the changes gradually. Don't underestimate your capacity to sabotage yourself. That's why you're fat in the first place.

What do you think I should do first then? Cutting sugar and IF first and then counting calories?

been counting and doing IF for the past 2 months in prep for this and only now i'm getting shits
fwiw i'm about 220, not 300
no space
it's a school gym i.e. already paid for
ik what you mean, that this shit is all in my head but it's a huge obstacle all of a sudden

>it's a school gym

oh in that case you will be judged heh, what did you expect it's college/uni

To be honest, whatever you want. I'll personaly remove sugar and alcohol first. You'll feel a lot better when the cravings end. Then count calories.

IF is not that effective, in my personal experience. I prefer a lot of low calorie / high protein meals. I'm a gymrat, though.

I wish people would emphasis that IF isnt some magic thing thatll make you lose weight. Its just something that can really help with controlling your appetite which can indirectly help you lose weight.

>I stopped alcohol for 2-3 weeks now. Really don't miss that much. Sugar will be much more difficult. Everytime after lunch I feel the cravings. My problem is I eat all the time when I'm at home and anxious.

Hey guys, just wondering what meals are great if I know Im going to be jogging that day. Ive been going at night like ~3 hours after I eat. After I get to where a 2 mile jog doesnt kill me, my plan is to start running in the morning. Is this a good idea or....?

You'll miss alcohol in social situations. It's more of a psychological addiction than anything else. Sugar is the real deal.

I'm also a big eater. If you can't control your appetite then change the food. Eat chicken breasts, an apple, whatever you like that's healthy + low calorie.

I miss alcohol when reading. The internet and netflix has ruined my attention span and I have trouble keeping my focus when I read. But I love reading with a light alcohol buzz and find it much easier to maintain attention.

I could easily drink 12 beers a week while reading on my porch at night if I didn't care about the calories.

I'm a 30yo boomer. I don't even go out that much anymore and I'm starting a postgrad course that'll keep me busy for at least 2 years

Stopped taking my anti-depressants and I feel so much fucking better now the serotonin withdrawal has subsided. I actually have an appetite - like I ate breakfast and wasn't immediately hungry until having dinner some 14 hours later. I've been on these fucking things for five, six years now - and it's made me fucking angry that I've been in this constantly hungry, high-metabolism mood that's made my long tern depression fucking worse by putting on weight. I don't even feel any worse off for it - I'm laughing more than usual and feel fucking great. I don't know if any other anons have done similar things, but if you have is there a crash? Does shit get worse or will it be back uphill for the right reasons?

This is /fat/, but what are some calorie dense foods to help meet your daily calorie intake gaining muscle? I'm looking to get yoked. My intake is around 2400 calories after calculating my weight.

Nuts, chicken thighs, black beans

>Nuts, chicken thighs, black beans

I fucking love nuts.

what kind of exercise should i be doing while i'm losing weight? i've been counting calories and doing treadmill but i don't know if i should be doing more since i'm more concerned with losing the weight i don't want than trying to build muscle. bulking will come after.

Attached: 1515374831032.jpg (475x476, 48K)

one of the longer lessons on my journey, it's been helping a lot for me recently

4 letters: HIIT

But exercise isn't that effective for losing weight. Just be patient and consistent with your diet.

other anons are right. Grab a routine and start doing something asap. Skinnyfat is unironically less aesthetic than obese.

then in that case what would be useful to have experience with when i hit my target weight?

I'm curious if there's a model of Fitbit-like device that you guys suggest? I've lost over 150 lbs (holy shit my life is so much better goddamn) and my back is finally good enough to get into some exercise, and in general I'd like to start walking more too. Don't really want to break the bank either. There's a bunch of ones on amazon for $20-40, but I'm not sure on quality.

/almost not obese/

I've not been under 200lbs in over 7 years. I'm going to make it.

Attached: 0da9dec9c7e1765a8e29fe0b7432ca44.png (486x393, 37K)

do it faggot, everyone judges everyone else all the time and they don't care. Get over yourself and be somebody or stay as you are and let randos judge you your whole life

Good job m8. I know that feel. I've only got about 15 more lbs before I break out of the /overweight/ category after being almost 300 lbs.

Stay strong bro.

That's my goal, man. 175

Awesome bros. Myself I'm just 1kg away from leaving cat II obesity. We will make it.

88% cacao chocolate has nearly the same macronutrient profile as almonds. It's just that almost all the fat is saturated. I was super shocked to find this out

Weightlifting. Unironically the best way to put on muscle if you aren't extremely poor or socially anxious.

Go for compound exercises. At first it's better to have the proper form than putting a lot of weight. You'll be a noob, so you'll put on muscle anyway.

>mom visiting me on campus
>she wants to take me out to eat
>weigh in is the next day

I don't want to splurge, but dammit, my mother will be treating. Help bros

go to fogo de chao

Goddamn it man if nobody were around it would be so easy. Almost considering going really early when nobody is there.

Is this legit social anxiety?

Weigh yourself the day before

Get a personal trainer for a session if you can. Most gyms have an induction in which you get one - he'll know what to do and teach you everything so you don't look like an idiot. Not looking like an idiot is half the game, the rest is consistency and reputation. I got funny looks the first time I started going to the gym but after learning, asking and actively trying to improve myself - even if it means asking people or the staff if I'm doing something wrong - people tend to realise how determined you are and respect you for it. Don't half ass it, don't have terrible etiquette. Respect others, respect yourself and people won't mind. Everyone's self-absorbed at the gym - they're only there for them. As long as you don't violate that respect nobody will give a toss, but if you go the opposite you'll make friends. In a year and a half of going to a gym I don't get funny looks anymore and have never had a bad moment - not even someone calling me a name or laughing at me. They'll respect you for it, as long as you're consistent with it.

>cap of the day with an ice cream cone
>1500 kcal
Comfy

Dieting and eating good for a month, down 20 pounds. Gave myself a cheat day today. Ended up still being under my daily caloric needs. Feels good man.

I bought dnp and t3 online and I am going to basically eat 500 calories a day for the next 90 days. Another fellow fat told me it was cheating but having read that I will go through literal hell for the next three months I don't feel like I am. Wish me luck and I hope I don't die.

Hi /fat/, first time poster. Just dumped about 3/4 of a 2 liter of Coke down the drain. Need to do this for my son. New me starts now.

20lbs in a month? Is it like your first time exercising or something because that is a lot of weight man! Good luck for the next month, the worst and best is yet to come.

Only ate around 1100 calories today. Felt good. Hopefully I can continue eating like that for a few months and drop below 200lb for the first time since sophomore year of high school.

Going from eating out for every meal to home cooked meals. Also was eating 4,000kcal a day and cut back to 2,400 or less a day.

I ate two medium pizzas yesterday, and I feel terrible. Granted, it was pretty much the only thing I ate all day, but still.

>a couple pounds away from being below 35 bmi
>just in time for my cousin's wedding
I should be able to make it.

if youre american, there is lots of average fat folks in gyms, dont be ashamed bro

>cut back to 2,400 or less a day

Christ, you must be a large large person. Keep it up.

I'm 1.98 meters and 150 kilos and my goal to lose 1 kilo per week is 2.2k
This guy is either bigger or going at it slower

My job is physically demanding. But I was eating enough for a 300 pound person and that is what I became and that was my wake up call. Thanks for the support. Gonna make it.
