Just be able to run a 5:30 mile or so if you absolutely have to do it, spend the rest of your time getting strong and explosive. If you can run 5:30 you already mog 95% of the male population in running endurance and still can put out unhindered vertical jump, sprint, and strength performance
5’8” manlet here, I ran almost 2 fucking laps at that pace lmao. 2:05 in the 800 meter. Nowadays I do sprints and can do a 4.6 40 yard, or basically that means I can run 35 kph keeping up to a moving car.

For me the real joy is actually jogging. Around 13-15km/h idk runner's pace with miles/minute or w.e because I usually run for an hour and that's the distance I've gone.
If you run especially when it's cold around 4 degrees and in darkness or the woods, there's a certain sense of relaxation. You aren't breathing so hard that it's all you can think about, rather you can focus on your day ahead and come up with really cool ideas. The runner's high from that is pleasurable for the rest of the day.

anything above 10 degrees Celcius is too hot, i suck at running in summer. I own running in the winter and need to go when its dark, for some reason when I run when its light outside I cant go as far. Might have to do with your eyes having more distraction or it being more busy on the road so it takes more energy to not die.
Thus running at 6am in winter is godlike

Just went for a run together with a friends for the first time. It's a very diffrent experience. Started out 2-3 months ago and i'm on track to finish the c25k program around christmas. Already planning on going for 10K next. Adding to that,i'm suprised how little clothing you have to wear even around freezing temps.
