My empty bowl is on my desk. If you eat anything other than a cold 100g of raw jumbo organic steel cut oats with skimmed milk and a coffee for breakfast you will literally never make it

You listen to me, bucko. I NEVER eat oatmeal and am WAY bigger than you. I GUARANTEE I would SMASH you in a liftoff, despite the fact taht I never eat oatmeal. I am very lean and big and strong and would fucking crush you in a liftoff.

Tfw turbo shit after breakfast lol

Almost literally me
>empty bowl and spoon on my desk
>eat 100-150g oats with full fat milk and vanilla whey
>drink coffee afterwards

Do you warm them up or eat them cold?

Attached: 1537411335996.png (771x723, 680K)

Cold

They're also organic (but they're rolled oats, not steel cut)

They play games with my guts. Reflux and soft stool. I now just eat Weetbix

>sugary carbs
What

Rolled oats every day, cold or hot, fresh or leftover from bigger batch, sometimes overnight oats...I use pumpkin pie spice, apple pie spice or gingerbread spice when cooking, sometimes flavored extracts or a few berries.

Oats are GOAT

Attached: 2393ABE2-8F10-47D6-8EFE-5F6DE72690EC.jpg (750x500, 123K)

Why should I?

170g of oates
20g of protein powder
400ml full cream milk
Eat it cold and immediately after I wake up. Forcing myself to do it not only helps with my gains but self discipline and makes the rest of the day a little easier

Thanks for the tip

I eat my oats cold with water only. Am I still gonna make it?

eating a bowl in bed right now

I honestly believe there's some secret shit in Oats that scientists have yet to discover I don't understand how they give me such huge gainz, 3 scoops a day minimum crew checking in.

Oatmeal is garbage for fitness. Oats are a meme.

What constitutes a scoop of oats? A cup?

>60% carbs
Never going to make it

1/2cup dry=1cup cooked

Oats make me shit too much.

he stated a fact, he didn't say you should do anything.

What are you're favourite oat combos?
For me, it's oats with banana raisins and pb or pb and dark chocolate.

>tfw celiac

Oats boiled with apples and cinnamon, with a scoop of apple whey together with a couple of dl of milk. Finish off with peanut butter.

>organic

is that four deformed alien babies or do you just have lumpy muscles

Why should i eat a shitton of antinutrients that will fuck up my gains

Do y'all sweeten your oats.
I put honey in mine ;_;

Oats with Apple sauce and Coffee every day

idk, theres not enough Australians to gain a big enough sample

Oat is one of the few organic products I buy, because it's still dirt cheap and it has less heavy metals than non-organic oat and I eat a lot of oat. I usually add frozen spinach, rosemary, parsley, salt and olive oil.

But oats are carbs...

why are oats considered /fit? By itself, oats don't offer much protein. I struggle to eat enough every day and hit my 1gram protein/lb of body weight without shoveling horse feed in my body that has no protein content

You actually think you're digesting much out of that... Maybe learn how to eat oats properly.
Sorry bud, looks like it's you that's literally never going to make it.

Would it be beneficial to replace or supplement oats with split peas, if you can manage actually cooking?
Like 3x the protons and cheaper.

The banana does the sweetenin'

Because you usually need a shitton of carbs when trying to gain weight?

Disgusting.

Alright Jow Forumsizens help me out on this. Through like January - April 2018 I ate shitloads of oats and never had any problems. Got sick of them and didn't have them during the summer, then in the fall I tried eating them again and now they give me horrible bloating/gas. How do I fix this? I miss having them.

Why oatmeal in particular?

how many calories are in oatmeal? the brand i use, uncle tobys [australia] says 1 cup has 1300 calories but google says a cup of oats has around 300 cal per cup

How can oats not be organic? I dont understand americans. Its fucking oats.

Your brand probably had a shitload of things they put in to make it taste better

its plain old steel cutt oats no fruit or anything

if you are sure its pure oats then disregard that label because it is obviously retardedly off

then 100g of them will have ~375kcal

>porridge with honey, bulk powder, whole milk
>2tbsp peanut butter
>weetabix
~1200kcal

step it up, smol boi

>tfw eating oatmeal when I saw this thread

I eat Granola
Am I a faggot?

Stop being a sweet addict.

It takes some time for the bowel the get accustomed to a new kind of carb or fiber. I'd just keep eating them for a couple weeks at least and see if the bloating goes away. How long have you been eating them now?

we're all gonna make it

Attached: remilia beebs.jpg (944x1080, 116K)

>2018
>still eating oats

You guys need to take the slav pill

Attached: gains.jpg (800x600, 161K)

>lectins
>carbs
That's a nope for me

Attached: 1508067097813.png (488x518, 350K)

>hungry 2 hours later.

Sounds like IBS bruh. Your fibre days are over. Carnivore up son.

>coffee

Never finna make it

I unironically agree. Only good things have happened to me and my gains since I started eating oats daily. It might just be about the fact that it coincided with me taking gym more seriously, hence more gains, but oats are genuinely a food from the gods. Oats are the type of food I'd see the stoic philosopher warrior eat.

Oats and water

No breakfast because I fast
No oats because no carb

complex carbs tho

>he eats so little food that he gets hungrly periodically

Pathetic, low test, never gonna make it, etc

no, wheetabix are all carbs; oats have protein. there's a protein wheetabix I think but oats are way easier to find than that

Apples, cinnamon, walnuts and flax seeds. If you haven’t tried walnuts in your oatmeal I envy the moment you first try it.

causes acne for me unfortunately

Attached: 1463840180038.jpg (400x300, 31K)

should I boil them or pouring some hot water on them is enough?

eat them raw - bag and all.

>1/2cup milk
>1/2cup water
>Pinch of salt
Bring to a simmer
>Add oats
>Stir for a couple minutes
>Add mashed 1/2 banana
>Stir for another minute or so
Transfer to bowl
>1/2tbsp cinnamon
>Tbsp brown sugar
>Sliced remaining 1/2 banana
You're welcome.

Yes

No

Good fiber, one of the best ‘slow carbs’, quick, easy, cheap, convenient.

Stevia

Slow carbs, there’s a difference. Legumes too.

Get different oats, pic related is good stats for oats.

Depends on the type, read up. That’s quick oats. I eat regular oats raw with cold vanilla cashew milk, like any breakfast cereal, I prefer that texture.

Thanks for the reminder m8, i legit forgot about oats and haven't eaten any for like 2 weeks.

>y'all

Attached: 1547741345205.png (414x419, 241K)

I started eating them again today, unfortunately they are high in L-Arginine and I finished my all my Whey

Oatmeal is largely memed by Quaker and other grain producers.

Sure it is a superior replacement to, say, waffles or pancakes, but it's not the best thing you can be eating. Soluble fiber is nice, but you could get that with a bowl of broccoli.

If you're looking to cut, oats should be the first thing to go.

Oats+peanut butter+berries + this vegan dogfood looking peaprotein shit is my way to go. Insanely good macros overall and keeps me satiated for way longer than just regular oatmeal.

Attached: dogfood.png (824x370, 173K)

heat 125g oatmeal with 500ml almondmilk
add:
a spoon of honey
a bit of cinnamon
a few walnuts
i eat this every day, its so good

Why should I eat oats over based muesli

I eat 7 bowls every Sunday, that way I'm free to eat whatever I want throughout the week

>oats
>pomegranate juice
>microwave for 1:30
>tbs local honey
>tbs elderberry syrup
>handful of raisins
>handful of blueberries
>half a banana, chopped
breakfast

>drinking sugar
>adding sugar
>adding even more sugar

Attached: 1496530100852.jpg (729x760, 320K)

Today I felt like having four large eggs mixed with a can of sardines plus an orange. Does that make me history's greatest monster?

>oatmeal
Hahaha
Get back to me when you're eating raw oats like a real man, kiddo

wtf people eat oatmeal cold?

I eat oats every day but only 55 g with about 320 mL of whole milk

Is that not enough?

Is it good for gaining weight?

milk

Attached: kim.png (553x679, 622K)

>let's ruin oats by adding just as many carbs of sugar

lactose?

I'm a new fag, you guys mean to tell me I can just pour a cup of steel cut oats into a bowl with cold milk and just eat it like cereal?

almonds & dried cranberries, honey, and beanut butter

What? But oats are in the list of satiating foods, they keep me full for a long time.
