carbs+fat lead to fat gain, so choose one or the other. carbs are insulinogenic, which is good for muscle gain, but fat helps hormone production, and testosterone is good for muscle gain.
in both cases, the smaller the caloric surplus, the easier it is not to gain fat.

Actually i don't "skip" breakfast, i simply eat it later. When im bulking im eating shortly after waking up because sometimes i might have to do some shit that will delay my next meal and i don't feel like eating a lot in one go on a bulk.
