When does the bar count?
Especially considering the '1000lb club', is this including 60kg of bar?
When does the bar count?
When you lift it.
>1000lb
>60kg
You never count the bar, it's implied.
1000lb club
3 lifts
60 kg of bar total?
1000lb is just the common expression but I'm not using retarded American conversions fuck that
But in competitions they count the bar, which is when the 3 main lifts are used, so in context of the 1000lb club, wouldn't you count the bar?
Is the 1000lb club a thing? I recently hit it without any real focus on strength so im not sure how hard it actually is
yes, but only for single lifts. 1k 3 lift total isnt a club
Fucking hell, this retarded meme again?
Do you or don’t you lift the fucking bar?
I left weight with the help from the bar
>counting the plates
I mean I lift
Damn your barbells are heavy as shit mine only weigh 20kg
that's right you don't count fork calories when you lift the food to your mouth, only food
>When does the bar count?
The bar does not count, it's like counting le weigth of your hands you faggot!
Stop counting the bar right now
You are the reason why abortion should stay legal
When progressively overloading you usually microplate your lifts using 1.25 and 2.5 kg plates. Since you account for such a small increase in weight, which overtime, allows you to bust through plateaus and slowly amounts to a considerable increase in what you are able to lift, why wouldn't you count a 20kg bar? This means that, since you don't give a shit about the weight of the bar, you don't really care if you're using a 10, 15 or 20kg bar. A fucking 5kg difference can make it or break it in being able to lift it, nevermind 10kg or 15kg difference (which is the case of the 10kg bars usually available at hotel gyms, and the olympic 20kg bars, available at nearly every gym I know).
Not counting the bar means you give zero shits about progression and probably train to feel le pump and le mind-mussle connection :D, which means you know fuck all about training and probably have piss poor lifts... or don't even lift
Have you guys ever heard about leverages? What do you think the bar is?
Standard barbells are 20kg
Post body
look at this fucking DYEL, counting the bar
>m-muh 500kg deadlift
>m-muh hyoooge lifts
in a suit, wearing wraps AND counting the bar v
here this should end any discussion
holy shit mayne this brings memories
BTFO
Based and Kiss-Shot pilledm. I lift for her
>this brings memories
Get out
Based.
Based and science pilled
Wait people include the bar in their stats?
>Yes when you bench press the bar gives you leverage
Holy shit can you walk and chew gum at the same time? It’s not a fucking landmine press, at no point is there leveraging from the bar you retarded faggot
>225 bench press
>I lift two plates on each side
>I also lift the 45lb bar
In what universe does it make sense to exclude it?
Yeah it actually does. Try benching plates without the bar see if it would be any easier retatrd
Are you the fat cunt from the devil thread? FUCK YOU
Its a meme dude. The bar always counts. the fucking bar in itselfs weights 45 fucking pounds, its retarded not to include that weight
Depends. If you do the 3 lifts with 3 different bars you count all of them, so 60kg. If you do them all with the same bar, you only count it once to prevent cheating, so 20kg.
Hi daddy
45lb DB press is different from 135 bench only for the fact that the bar helps you stabilize the weight, same with smith machine vs bench. It has nothing to do with leverage. Take a hs physics class you mouthbreathing mongaloid
The equal weights on each side of the barbell negates the weight of the barbell itself
