B12 isn't and people aren't quite sure if the supplements are bioavailable unless they're meat derivatives. Plus, most animal hormone supplements like vitamin D aren't chemically the same or as bioavailable as the animal based hormones. It's really suboptimal.

I was vegan for a year or so and I felt like shit when I was a vegan. Plus, I was supplementing, eating at a huge calorie surplus (4k calories) and eating lots of lentils and beans. I was depressed, anxious, losing weight constantly, low energy, and summer. Just saying, there's a reason we have heme-iron receptors in our stomach
