On a 'positive' note you could get a 1080 ti for 'only' 860€. They all cost 1000+ over here.

How can I tell if a newly bought SSD is not supported by my 2010 mainboard or just broken? I decided to finally get one but it is not recognized in the BIOS, regardless of the SATA slot and whether I use IDE or AHCI. It's really annoying.

>So are the ones that cost money just for extra software or something?

yes and no. Windows 10 home is free, its the other versions that cost cash.

I don't think so I looked and thats not including tax or shipping cost

Got a friend who's selling his build since I don't have a pc and was looking for one, is it woth it or am I being scammed?

CPU: Intel i5 4670K OEM
CPU Cooler: Zalman Low Profile
Motherboard: Asus Gryphon (with Armor/Boxed/Some Accesssories)
RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) Kingston or Corsair 1600MHz DDR3 (Unboxed)
Storage-SSD: 240GB Intel 520 Series OEM (Unboxed)
OS: Windows 10 Home x64 Digital License
GPU: GTX970
Case: Corsair Obsidian 350D (Windowed/Unboxed)
PSU: Corsair VS550 (Unboxed)

He's charging £570. Immediately I've noticed that the memory is way too low at 240GB also what about the RAM? Is Kingston good?

Will I be able to run games comfortably on here?
I've seen saying that the GTX970 isn't bad, but I just want to be sure.

Its out of stock. it is available in one store on the other side of france

The AX370 K5 is better, if you want so save some money you could get a CL16 kit since with the latest BIOS you won't have issues, a Focus Plus Gold 550W (I would stick with the 650W) and a H7

From what I know, pirating Windows is done by getting the official ISO from Microsoft's site, and then using an activator (KMSpico) to spoof the license.

Thanks a lot man, this all seems like really solid advice. I was just going to build in an old anantec case my dad had lying around. do you think I should buy a cheap modern one instead?
