what's the difference between dt880 250ohm vs 600ohm?
I have a nx4 that can only push 300mw@32ohm, doesn't seem suited for a 600ohm but am looking for another amp for home use.

Not really. It was rated lower than K701 in blind tests. Electrostats is a useless technology sadly.

I'm looking for some BT headphones that don't fuck up multiple sources. I want to able to answer phone calls while I'm already connected to a another source and intelligently switch between them.

I know that Bose QC35II does this but there are many reviews that say that they fuck up all the time. I do have good BT cards in my computer and my phone.

would something like this make any difference instead of just using pc

>dac/amp difference
Depends on headphones and how fucked your onboard audio is.
>FX-AUDIO
Absolutely avoid. They're CRAP.
Look into Topping DX3 Pro.

>RCA line out on the front
This makes me irrationally angry every time I see this. Why would anybody want it that way? Surely this is some kind of cost saving measure.

Holy shit. I'm glad I dodged a bullet and bought the LSR305's over the H5. When I went to listen to them in the store the H5's sounded coloured, more like hifi speakers and this proves it. At least the H8's are pretty balanced but fuck I didn't realise the H5's were that shit.

Easier to design, possibly no space on pcb or cost saving as you said. Same shit as with o2 and its infamous front input.

Fiio e10k instead if you want something cheap. As other user said fx-audio is to be avoided.

I ordered the DX3 and i'm using ATH50s. Is it time to upgrade my headphones?

rate my battlestation
