Sorry but I only know French books ive only heard of "The things they carried" which seems to be a god-tier book, but if you know some forums/imageboards of history autists, they will be glad to give you the names of the best books about the subject you are looking for.
Also if you are interested in a book, always google the name and read the comments of people who buyed it (amazon is good for that)

Documental films are only made for entertainment and they're full of stereotypical bullshits, and the format is way too short to give the tons of informations a book can give

Nice picture. Thanks.

You have a point. Agree.

Vietnam in hd
its on youtube

'A Rumor of War' by Philip Caputo is the best one I read. He was a marine core officer and part of one of the first regiments in vietnam and then later he went back as a war correspondent

RAMBO

>11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in Vietnam | US Army Documentary | 1969

>This US Army documentary covers the activities of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment (aka the Blackhorse Regiment) in Vietnam, which proved that armored vehicles could be used under the Jungle and marsh conditions found in Vietnam.

>The 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment was a uniquely independent unit of the US Army, functioning as an armored fist, re-enforcing other units in action and in a wide variety of other roles including convoy escort through enemy infested territory and jungle clearing.

>good documental films
>history channel

I would recommend some ARTE docu but I think they are in German/ French only

The hell is konina?

Хopc мит

History, NG and Discovery are usually so biased and full of american propaganda. The shit was so annoying I rather cancelled my TV subscription than continue to watch that shit
Canned dogs, why the fuck would do you think it have a picture of a horse on the can?

Heard that doesn't taste too good.
That's why I asked.

I made horse sausages back when I had horses and they werent bad

>Heard that doesn't taste too good.
Disinformation. It tastes good. I make a borsh with konina today and ate dry mongolian konina 3 days ago.

they are dry compared to pig ones but i like them too
lots of people dont tho, and a lot still consider a horse the same as dog and cat and refuse to eat it

Guess I'll have to try some sometime. Good on you for cancelling the tv subscription btw, most of it is just garbage nowadays. Waste of money.
I heard less of it tasting bad and moreso it just not well, and being really tough. Only one way to find out I suppose. No idea where the hell I'd find any here though, think I'm gonna have to take a trip up north or elsewhere to try some. No one here sells any without raping your wallet.
