Why do Americans buy off road trucks if they have perfect roads and weather?

>perfect roads
Our cities take fucking ages to get around to fixing potholes
>perfect weather
Only cities that get blizzards every year are prepared to deal with them, others (like here in the Pacific Northwest) get taken off guard and we get iced-over roads for up to a full week before they can actually plow them. When that happens all the carlets stay home while big trucks and AWD Japanese cars get to play
They want to get rid of roads because they think roads are communist.
This rich won't pay taxes, the infrastructure falls apart, might as well prepare for the future as America falls into a 3rd world country.
>perfect roads
>pot-holes are such big issues a pizza company is fixing them as a marketing stunt
Our roads aren't perfect and our weather is awful depending on where you are
California has more Prius, but rest assured Texas is covered in Ford F-Series'
>pic
God fucking Bless
>Lived the whole life thining that the climate and money allow America to keep the roads in nearly ideal shape
>See this thread
I drove from San Antonio to Denver, through New Mexico on the way back and through Oklahoma on the way there
It largely depends on where you are, a lot of the heavier traffic areas are often well maintained, the rural roads in less affluent counties suck, but aren't anything too awful
Lada Niva > ever ''offroad'' trucks America ever produced
>fixing potholes
It's not a problem for most cars. Look at pic. This is how bad read looks like.
> full week before they can actually plow them
Just one week is not 5 month winter. You can use it as a little vacation.
This car beats Niva easliy. Fucking hohols stopped to make them, though
That looks awesome
Take it back, Jeep and Ford are based
Reminds me of the road in the middle of amazon.
>call it velociraptor instead of raptor
>add 2 wheels
Why are Americans so retarded?
Because accountants like to LARP was working class Americans who need a truck for work
Offroading is still a really popular hobby in rural America
We call this particular kind of truck a 'brodozer'
youtube.com
They are typically owned by suburban middle upper class douche bags who like to pretend they are "country"
If you live in a city most of the time you won't see trucks or stuff like that. If you in a more rural state (like mine, SD) than you see trucks all the time. Comes in handy with the snow too
In some of our more sparsely populated areas the state/county roads aren't always paved. Pic related is a ranching area in an unincorporated area of Wyoming.
>This rich won't pay taxes
inb4 some paid off economist shill dickhead says on national tv increasing taxes for the rich is bad because they would flee to another country
They literally stake their lives to be seen as a manly man.
Have you noticed all the billionaires putting their money into privatized space travel, because they literally have so much money they don't know what else to spend it on? They want to live in space so they can rule over the planet and be safe from the masses.
IH and Jeep both kick the shit out of your meme commie car
yeah, i'd rather have faster human advancement in space flight through an efficient private sector than take the money to buy foodstamps for tyrone

>tfw I want a big truck to pull my boat etc

Small penises
>Implying this isn't already the case
Look at what happened in France with their super rich tax :^)
240 inches of snow each winter. Yeah, I own a 4x4 truck.
where?
Not the same guy, but a very large portion of the Northern US gets more than 120 inches of snow a year.
Close to the Canadian border. On the Great Lakes.
Sounds like Lapland, we get similar amounts. Everyone just drives old Volvos or snowmobiles.
This. Studded tires goes a long way.
No studded tires in America.
Illegal or? Here it's required by law to have them in winter.
