Id go with Slovenian, since Slovenia is almost as progressive as we are.

Well I guess it depends on which languages you know beforehand.
If it's slovak, both might be as easy, although slovaks may very well have been confronted with czech language.
If its serbian, well I guess it's slovene.

Both have their difficulties, I guess for me the řřřřř is what put me off czech language, and as for slovene, the three grammatical numbers + the three grammatical genders + the six grammatical cases make humongous combinations to learn.
