Shit like this isn’t surprising in the slightest user, just look at the genetic makeup of East Germans. Those countries surround each other, there’s hardly any “pure” 100% Scandis (minus Iceland maybe) or Germans or Poles or whatever anymore, if there ever was. Doesn’t mean the cultures in those regions changed though, and odds are a person in question would still be majority whatever of wherever they came from.

Second of all, please do your research. Don't want to paste links to articles behind scientific paywalls here, but the evidence is there. They have almost identical genetic markers to other Balkan Slavs. There are only trace elements of some Italian DNA, but they are almost homogeneous with Serbs, Bulgarians, etc.
