Learning Spanish

How’d you go about learning Spanish user? I want to learn but have no idea where to start.

Well, I grew up a 20-minute drive from Castilla Y Léon, so I could get Spanish channels on the telly. That's how I learned Spanish.
If you speak English, it'll only take you a few months to learn Spanish if you're really eager to learn Spanish.
The basics are completely different: Germanic-Latin; but the ''fancy'' words are more or less the same. You'll realize that you can easily translate words back and forth.
Plus, the structure of the sentences is not that abnormal.

Don't learn cuban or spanish... spanish, you sound like an absolute retard to the rest of spanish speakers.
