お前が利用せずに俺に知らせたらいいじゃないか

Can someone translate this for me? My brain is full of fuck, context hardly helps.

"Isn't it okay if I don't need you to notify me?" Or so I interpret it.

Maybe a Jap tourist will come to your hotel and all your time spent on djt will come to shine

In casual conversation, we rather use "使う" instead of "利用", but it's(利用する) used for certain kinds of equipments or services.
And as it sounds really casual, it, "利用する" rather sounds like "to exploit somebody".
So it'd be like
>How about not use it (exploit him) by yourself and notifying me of that?

DEJA VU

ま…まさか、慣性ドリフト?!

仕事の終わりまで一時が残った
is this correct

一時 is 1:00
一時間 is 1 hour

そうだよ、覚えった。難しいのことを習っていって時で容易のことを忘れた

>仕事の終わりまで一時が残った
仕事の終わりまで一時間が残った
This'd be correct but to make it sound more natural,
>仕事の終わりまで一時間が残っている sounds like "It's one hour left until the finishing time"
>仕事の終わりまで一時間になった
sounds like "Now it comes to the point one hour before the finishing time"

But, your original sentence is actually somehow CORRECT.
"一時" means 1:00 or 13:00 certainly, but it means also "a littel while" or "a certain period of time" at the same time, if it's read as "いっとき".
Therefore,
>仕事の終わりまでいっときが残った
means
>A certain amount of time is left until the finishing time.

ありがとう師匠

If you are a person interested in Japanese mangas, checking 平田弘史 would 損はさせない for sure

ちょっと遅いけど、ありがと!平田弘史先生の漫画は日本語で読みがたいか?

maybe stop posting dead shit memes then faggot

>読みがたい
新しい文法を学んだ

can you explain it to me

nevermind figured it out

masu stem + がたい = difficult

Wait, the verb stem + い adjective in kana thing is outdated? Well fuck, there go 2 hours down the drain.

Attached: 1536325631969.png (1280x800, 853K)

see

It's his 手書き文字 not 活字.
Anyway, it's worth trying.
the verb stem(you might mean conjunctive form 連用形 ) + がたい means "hard to do something" as adjectives, but for some verbs "にくい" has become more popular than "がたい".
>they are the different pronunciation of the same kanji though, "難い"..
>some phrases like 得難い, し難い, has remained in casual usage but 読みがたい sounds little bit outdated but you can use it.

>平田弘史先生の漫画は日本語で読みがたいか?
Most lines in of his works are written in that outdate styles, but yeah worth trying.

信じがたい

Attached: girlsfrontline20.gif (560x552, 126K)

そう言われると確信を保ちがたい
>now you can use 連用形+がたい forms as much as you like.. but phrases like 飲みがたい or 投げがたい sould a little bit weird in some context..I coudn't come up with general rule now..

That makes sense, thanks. With that in mind, which one of these forms would be the more natural one to use?「読みにくい」or 「…読むのことは難しい」?

Attached: 1535136036084.png (396x473, 190K)

灯り
明かり

Attached: yuruyuri46.png (1280x720, 1.3M)

First one definitely.
The latter one, namely, is a very typical unnatural phrase foreigners make.
>のことは
when you wanna use that structure, just drop the "の" so it'll be natural, but it'd make a different nuance.

>この漫画は読みにくい?
>Is this manga a hard one to read?
>この漫画を読むことは難しい?
>Is it hard for me (or you, depends on context) to read this manga?

You're the real MVP, japanon. Thanks a million.

>why "の" unnatural
>読むのこと is unnatural while 彼のこと is not
in that case, the verb is in attributive form(連体形) so it's already an ADJECTIVE.
For "彼", on the other hand, nouns and pronouns don't inflect therefore the particle "の" should be appended to make it attributive.

Thanks for learning our language.

こんにちはdjt、お元気か?
いま、小さい問題があります、でも、日本語のレベルはクソです。そして、僕 は問題を英語で説明ます:
how do I use よう? Also what is its exacy meaning? Can I use it like 「彼はねむいようです」and also like 「彼は本を読むのようです。」

*exact

ねむいようです
よんでいるようです
seem

Advanced level: what's the difference between よう and -的

なんで/levant/を置いていったの。

最近に、あの場所は詰まらなくになった。そう言えば、先前のことは本当にすみませんでした。

Attached: 1536327599631.gif (464x544, 1.11M)

What exactly does "Wai no na masata" (わいのなまさた) mean?
I ask because it sounds like "Shit on the table" in my language.

Do you speak Japanese?

Nope, but I've been meaning to start studying it.

Then learn what that means by yourself.

kk see you in 2 years then

What are you even saying? Do you know what thread you're in, or the purpose of it to begin with?
Did you mishear what was said, cause I don't think わいのなまさた means anything.

He's obviously mishearing something because he doesn't know Japanese so he should learn it first.

lol

Midway through the 2k deck right now and my True Retention has been dipping down a bit the past week. I've gone from consistent 85%+ on True Retention to low 80s, and even a 79% yesterday when I was dropping reviews left and right.

Should I be concerned or is this normal as I progress past the more basic words of the half half of the deck?

That's the point where they start tossing harder words at you. Either way though stop caring about stats.

That's normal, you're getting to the point where there are too many things to remember just with Anki. Your retention will keep dropping until you start reading.

And as said, don't mind the stats. Don't ever check them if you're worried.

Nah there's just no way to remember stuff like 政府 on the first few tries when both of those kanji were never shown before in the deck, only way to do it is connecting the dots and figuring out that a bunch of other words also has those kanji, finding relations and just bruteforcing it into your mind for a few days. The worst is when you get a new kanji with no other words that have it and you also can't think up any distinct features that it might have to help you remember it. 掃除 has been screwing me over lately even though when I hear it I know what it is and I don't think I know any other words with these kanji. Maybe it's time to hit up Yotsuba.

>掃除
I hate that son of a bitch, I know some other words with those kanji and I still fuck it up sometimes for whatever reason

Just start reading after 2k and you'll be fine

I did radicals and RTK along Core so I guess my perspective is a little different.

What's the story for 掃除

At which point can I start reading or listening to Japanese ? Not fluently of course but when can I start with simple things ? Is the 1k core vocabulary enough to start watching anime or reading easy manga ?
I'm new to learning Japanese and I'm trying to set a goal to achieve in a few months

惡の華 is pretty much the most simple manga that I know, you could try this one
the vocab constatly repeats, almost all speech bubbles don't include more than one sentence at a time and the grammar is simple and not too slangy
that being said, you'll still mine words like a motherfucker no matter what you start, so be prepared for that

Just stumbled upon 珈琲

Attached: img_023_YaruAndSuru-cover-e1505891170257-1024x580.jpg (1024x580, 47K)

放く

I did fine with 2k, but step 1 of 6k just raped my mind, Now I'm trying to go through Jtest4you, but I'm stumbling on N4, though I know all these grammar points I'm shit with constructing correct sentences.

>Moka

Attached: gochiusa529b.png (1920x1080, 2.02M)

I have no fucking idea, I removed those cringe mnemonics some 100 cards in. Now it's straight up Kanji on front, Radicals and Keyword on the back.

You would have less trouble with this if you read the guide and stopped using random garbage.

again forgot to mention, it would make sense to wait until you've reached 2k though
1k is very early for reading, but if you need it to stay motived go ahead

you can always watch anime of course, but don't use english/french subtitles then, maybe just rewatch stuff you know by heart anyway on animelon or just raw

Only lead I have is left radical is hands but the rest is just a fucking mess

Attached: umineko101.jpg (221x246, 61K)

How would you interpret this? 汚れは満ちた糜爛の月と嘔吐の夜抉り取れ? I tried my hardest, but it all sounds like a jumbled mess. "The impurity/uncleanness/stain gouges out the night of retching with the full moon that is swollen"? What

it's 帚 + 手, doesn't get much clearer than this

You are my savior

Attached: fate282.png (592x455, 247K)

It is obviously a jumbled mess by design, but the least nonsensical interpretation I can think of would be:
Gouge out the inflamed moon, full (only) in its impurity, and the night of retching
i.e.,
>汚れは満ちた
describes the moon, with the は of contrast, as opposed to 汚れ being the topic of the whole sentence.

Attached: major200.png (1280x720, 1.21M)

Is megane usually written in katakana or in kanji?

Actually this seems quite fine. Thank you. I thought I was just square-headed or something because I couldn't wrap my head around how the official English translation would say "The stain is the moon that's fulfilled, and the vomiting at night begins". But i guess it's wrong.

>"The stain is the moon that's fulfilled, and the vomiting at night begins"

Yeah, that definitely a guesslation. The translator doesn't understand how と works.

No, this is the official English translation off the booklet that comes with the album. I've got a headache trying to decipher that one. Really, thanks!

>汚れは満ちた糜爛の月と嘔吐の夜抉り取れ
this seems impossible, I need an adult

Attached: 1493554784644.png (411x301, 103K)

people can shit on japapese hip hop all they want, but at least their sentences usually make much more sense than such random edgelord lyrics

Hey, but it's anti-abortion and all that. Somewhere between those words there is a message. I think. But honestly, while this line is particulary dumb, I kinda like the band(Dir en grey). Well, except all the random screaming, that is.

Just for fun, here's all the lyrics of that particular song taken straight out of some random chinese lyrics site. Now laugh
