Made some cheese and jalapeno cornbread on the weekend. Now I know why you guys are so fat. Finished the whole thing in one day.

Attached: cheese and jalapeno cornbread.jpg (1600x1212, 529K)

buy some catfish and fry it

better yet, order some grits and make shrimp and grits

Attached: 1536019654601.jpg (954x670, 49K)

>shrimp and grits
This sounds based. I'll try it.

How do you enjoy this, do you actually take out the shell by hand and eat?
Is there any tip to enjoy this?
Last time I tried, the shells was so hard and there was little meat inside.

pull off the tail
pinch the sides of the tail so it loosens up
suck the meat out

youtu.be/ehmvXD-j2kA

>finished the whole thing in one day
get ready to shit endlessly, cornbread is DENSE

its god tier cooking, i recommend cheese grits with parmesan, cheddar, and gouda and then seasoning the shrimp up spicy with cajun seasoning

its gotta get done somehow lol, either we're shelling crawdads ourselves or we're paying extra to buy just tail meat (which is actually a little easier for cooking)

plus after the first dozen you get the hang of it

have more cajun food bud

Are oysters eaten in the South

>or we're paying extra to buy just tail meat (which is actually a little easier for cooking)
ye but then you don't get to make stock

i think they eat shellfish on the east coast but i've never had it

>mix all dishes
>throw them in a big pile on a table
>don't even use plates
This is arab tier gross way of serving food.

>mix all dishes
but sven
they were all cooked in the same pot
it's basically a stew

also please show me a plate or pot that's big enough to contain 30 pounds of crawdads

they're boiled in a huge pot and then poured out to cool

people get plates later and grab portions off the table

You can put a little bit of effort into presentation at least

Attached: P1040103.jpg (1024x768, 197K)

why tho

Attached: 1536503706577.jpg (959x960, 77K)

>put up paper decorations and greens that nobody will eat
seems like a waste of effort desu

most crawdad boils are outside anyway

Attached: gumbo.jpg (2731x2731, 1.06M)

gib

also do you know if there's a place to buy dried cayennes around here

nah, prolly easier to order those

>cheese grits n eggs for breakfast

sounds fantastic

The Yankees have perverted your thought, Walton. Crawdads aren't fish at all.

>walton

CRAYFISH

I didn't say that, I was accused of being a yank for using a southern term and correct the Albertan
gay
Maybe there, in most places deep in the south it's crawfish
worse than crawdad

It's called écrevisse here
Do whatever the fuck you want with this piece of information

you've acted like that in the past
why won't you fuck off

as you can see, we're objectively right

Attached: 1520978259286.png (905x600, 222K)

yeah, that's the origin of crayfish and crawfish iirc

This makes Walton look right tho.
Also stop bullying.

no

how do I get my friend to stop obsessing over monster hunter

try killing yourself, he'll probably attend your funeral

WHY is data plural

haha, joke's on you
he'd be too drunk to drive around the time of the funeral

alright but jokes aside it is very taxing
anytime we're hanging out around the house he wants to play monster hunter
it's a fun game but I don't wanna play it five to eight hours a day

floridians deserve to be bullied and sunk into the sea

i don't care
how the fuck do i unsubscribe from your blog

...

how do I unsubscribe from your hurtful messages

try being a better poster

wow I have never eating cray fish like this, mind blowing.
will do, mate
I love American cuisne.
A little too much calories imo, but seems incredibly yummy

no thanks

>A little too much calories imo
why do you think we're so fat lmao

kinda partial to vietnamese food, though the stuff i cook is probably nothing like real gook food

Attached: 1505326339219.png (214x315, 68K)

I absolutely love American BBQ.
And don't worry mate, not everyone of us is a good cook either. I can't enjoy any viet food that does not comes out of my family (mama was too much of a good cook).

I think our cuisine should incorporate more western elements like cream and cheese and bread (which I love).

bbq is one of if not our best creation. if you ever get the chance and the inclination to try smoking your own meat, building a brick smoker isn't all that hard

do you have any dishes you could recommend? i've had bo kho and a few noodle dishes that i can't name, but that's about all

Any chances of finding wild trouts in the Ozarks or Wachita ? Or crawfishes. Not seafood exactly but with nice rivers or lakes you can find good stuff

idk if you'd call them wild trout, they aren't native to arkansas and mostly came from Army CoE farms. we do have trout in our lakes tho

there are wild crawdads but you're honestly better off just buying them from a farm

Yeah even I don't know what I really meant with wild trouts
I guess it meant not specific ponds full of trouts for the sole purpose of fishing tourism or to be sold in supermarkets

Nice

I'm glad Dennis is back on Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He took a long break being your President, but that's okay

my friend that vouched for this system is currently kicked out of college and being charged with two unrelated felonies
pulled mad pussy though

gettin em in bad shit we watch in rabbits

yeah fishing is a big pastime here, crawdads are more common in the bayous and whatnot and you could catch enough for yourself to eat a few handfuls if you took the time

pull up a chair and grab you a plate romaniabro

is this the legendary foolproof pickup artistry they spoke of in the late 00s??

The only reason Agincourt is popular is because of Shakespeare, it's not even the most influential battle won by the English (Crécy and Poitiers.) Thankfully, the good guys won in the end anyway.
