Made some cheese and jalapeno cornbread on the weekend. Now I know why you guys are so fat. Finished the whole thing in one day.
buy some catfish and fry it
better yet, order some grits and make shrimp and grits
>shrimp and grits
This sounds based. I'll try it.
How do you enjoy this, do you actually take out the shell by hand and eat?
Is there any tip to enjoy this?
Last time I tried, the shells was so hard and there was little meat inside.
pull off the tail
pinch the sides of the tail so it loosens up
suck the meat out
>finished the whole thing in one day
get ready to shit endlessly, cornbread is DENSE
its god tier cooking, i recommend cheese grits with parmesan, cheddar, and gouda and then seasoning the shrimp up spicy with cajun seasoning
its gotta get done somehow lol, either we're shelling crawdads ourselves or we're paying extra to buy just tail meat (which is actually a little easier for cooking)
plus after the first dozen you get the hang of it
have more cajun food bud
Are oysters eaten in the South
>or we're paying extra to buy just tail meat (which is actually a little easier for cooking)
ye but then you don't get to make stock
i think they eat shellfish on the east coast but i've never had it
