first and formost ill be the first to admit that i might be biased towards what you wrote since that genre its my fucking weakness, shit rn im reading a story that could be said its like that if a lot more focused on tech porn, so ill focus on your skill.
JD my man, you have improven a lot, between chapters is not that noticeable but between stories? its there you keep a decent balance with descriptions and char develoment, a bit of a slow burn for the genre but its aigth imo and lets more develoment (char, world building and explanation) the action there is actually rather good finds that good area of telling enough without going full pruple prose and with a bit more of practice (wich in my opinion is almost nothing) and some elbow grease you could publish it
tldr: you went from a decent fanfiction.com writer to a someone that should start making the first draft to a book
