>not eating raw potatoes like they're apples

I wonder what's the reason for that.
From my perspective, hypertension comes from shitty diet and lifestyle. I was diagnosed with "genetic" hypertension (was shooting up to 160, put on medication) but now, after exercise, proper nutrition and meditation I measure a stable 120/60 on the regular without any drugs.
Also I've noticed (at least with myself) that if you think that you have high pressure, it will rise. All about your mindset.
All in all, I think that the rest of your diet is in check, eating boiled or steamed potatoes (even daily) shouldn't be a problem.

I don't like the sweet, carrot-y taste senpai

They make u bloat

Sweet potatoes have more fiber, micro nutrients and taste better though

That is not 200kcal

1 large potato has 350 calories u dweeb

Lmao, do you not know thst sweet potatoes are a different kind of tuber? You think they just take potatoes and add sugar to them?
I dont understand. This is some next level bait

I have ulcerative colitis, when i eat potatoes i shit blood

???
They are a really good source of carbs...

There are mulyiple types of hypertension, yours was probably primary arterial hypertension, which is the most common one.
This one is caused basically because your heart has to work harder to push your blood through all your fatness, heavy limbs and shit covered arteries.

This one can be solved easily with proper diet, weight loss and excercise, however most people just dont give a fuck so you have to give them pills or else you're a bad doctor.

decent b8

But the texture is horrible

Because they aren't keto

Sweet potato hash, and sweet potato fries destroy regular fries. I used to hate them too, but a good plate of those is fucking divine

Get a good gastro to prescribe you a biologic.

I started recently, not every day but trying to cut back on rice and pasta.

But I am

>he doesn't cycle them
>he also doesn't cycle between boiled, roasted and stir fried potatoes/sweet potatoes

step up

how many kcals/100g ?

some claim 77kcals others 85kcals and others 96kcals which fucks me up
I just pick a plastic bag and choose the white potatoes that seem the most fresh

its two potatoes, the bag says 110 cals each

I eat them both.

>some claim 77kcals others 85kcals and others 96kcals which fucks me up
can you imagine?

Thanks Ricky Retardo

Mine says 85 calories. I think thats the standard.

>why aren't you eating a bunch of empty carbs that taste like shit

>he cycles potatoes

fuck off potato nigger

potato > rice/pasta/bread

Because I'm not one of the white niggers

take 75 cals when bulking, 96 cals when cutting and 85 cals maintaining problem solved
rather have rice, buckwheat, kuskus, cooked splet or pasta if there is nothing else be4 potatoes, they are only good if covered in butter (mashed or whole) or baked/fried in oil and they can suck in hella lot of oil

>>not based sweet potatoes
Fuck off amerimut.

>he doesn't eat lotus root

Eat a potato and post reaction on Jow Forums

>Believing Harvard jews about whats healthy
>Never gonna make it

Harward stole ma trees and sold the. To IKEA

people aren't getting fat off of boiled potatoes retard. Read the fucking article and you'll see french fries and mashed potatoes are counted towards potato consumption

>People who increased their consumption of French fries and baked or mashed potatoes gained more weight over time
>People who decreased their intake of these foods gained less weight, as did people who increased their intake of other vegetables.

The state of academia.

You're the non-reading retard. OP has potatoes in a frying pan and they're blaming high high glycemic index and glycemic load.

All those recipes are made with oil and butter, seriously, fucking harvard.

why do y'all need to argue about fucking potatoes

That's not 200 calories. 200 calories is just the oil you used, fatboy.

>A secondary analysis of potato subtypes showed that weight changes were positively associated with increases in the consumption of french fries (3.35 lb) and of boiled, baked, or mashed potatoes (0.57 lb).

this

I would love to eat sweet potatoes but I'm on keto. feels bad man. literally one of the only foods I miss.

>carbs are bad
Kys Ketofag

Yeah, i have to agree with this guy. I love potatoes but there's definitely a good amount of oil on there. Not that that's bad either but if you are putting it on there, you gotta account for it

not op but I mean having zero fat causes you to eat a little more apparently

Carbs prevent catabolism after workouts and provide fuel to lift at maximum energy and thereby increase gym performance

Why would you not want carbs?

Please keep low quality b8 off my board

Pls share recipe for sweet-hash. Do I shred and fry them like normal or is there a different preparation method?
