bump

I don't know.

okay good answer

This is probably gonna sound retarded or sarcastic
But have you thought about not using whey? Or only using it in specific circumstances when a high protein meal is impossible
I literally have the same problem, for the benefits of the macros in a protein shake is it really worth it considering you the can't eat for hours afterwards.
Instead maybe have multiple small meals each with a bit of protein throughout the day?

If you're gonna continue OP my only idea is look for higher quality protein like ON, not My Protein that fucks with me badly.

i dunno, i mean protein powder is so dang cheap and convenient. plus i can add my creatine and other suppliments to it, so it just knocks everything out in one go. i was thinking of just going to pea protein or maybe isolate. i dunno, but im probibly not going to go throught the hassle of batch mealing. im lazy

Yeah I had the same problem of just being lazy
I pay like 3x as much for creatine in tablet form because I cba scooping it into water

If you do more than 1 scoop maybe try having more shakes in a day with less powder? So you're minimizing how much your body has to process at once

OP what protein do you use? I mean brand etc. Always check out proteins on labdoor.com before you buy.
I will go out of my way and guess you have a regular whey protein(not isolate) and that the cause of this is lactose along with other factors, in the future i recommend you try an isolate and see if it works better for you (myprotein whey isolate is god tier) .
If you abuse caffeine or use a preworkout then you should also lay off for a while, preworkouts have a long history of screwing with peoples stomach's.
Also if you use creatine dont go above 5g per day, if you do it may be a contributing factor as well.
There are literally a thousand factors that can help cause this. You need to dig deeper and find the problem

>why is a processed food supplement possibly containing onions fillers making my stomach upset

Dude, eat ground beef, eggs, and homemade yogurt or milk instead.

I avoided this by changing to S O Y, yes S O Y proteons isolate.

Come at me, faggots.

are you mixing it with milk perhaps? I am lactose intolerant and I used to feel like that when drinking protein shakes with milk.

mixing it with water would be the best, but if you want to use milk you should use milk without lactose

OP here,
i get the cheap stuff. 6 star (at walmart)

i'll definately look into the myprotein isolate. thanks user

i drink a 20oz cold brew every morning, have for many years. could be contributing. i also just introduced flax to my shakes and noticed an increase in discomfort. that may be the culprit? i'll try taking it out and see hat happens tomorrow

no, my recipe is-
frozen berries
lemon juice
protein powder
creatine
flax
pnut butter
2 drops of nancent iodine
athletic greens

yea im thinking of going with the pea protein if the isolate doesnt work

i bet if you remove the frozen berries and lemon juice it will be fine. some people get nauseous like that from fruits

>he has trouble digesting dairy
roped neck pulls x f

Because you're obviously DYEL as fuck and probably starting eating real food under 1 month ago, here's some advice. Stop being a fucking pussy, mix your whey into 500ml milk and drink two or three a day until you no longer cramp. Lactose tolerance can be built. Fiber supplements and morning coffee are essential for my digestive health, might help you too.

Don't listen to this retard

Found the retarded asian descendant.

>cheap walmart whey

this is your problem. if you are sensitive to lactose, you'll want Whey ISOLATE. Look at the carb count; it should be very low. Also most of the decent whey powders come with lactase mixed in for those of inferior genetic stock who can't handle a tiny bit of cow sugar.

Get some frozen edamame for about $1 a bag and fill your whole freezer with it. 24g of protein a cup is amazing considered how cheap they are.

>(((soi merchant)))

proteins are proteins, r-right?

Try not touching your protein for a few days. If you need protein try eating boiled egg whites or good ol chicken breast. If you see that your stomach is fine then the problem is indeed the walmart tier protein.
You can also not drink coffee for a day or too but i doubt that's the issue, though staying away for a day or two might help your stomach recover
Generaly cheap protein is usually trash and will fuck you up, some brands even put useless amino acids in it just to get a higher protein count in lab tests. Keep in mind for the future that some great brands are ON and myprotein (their whey isolate has been on the very top of labdoor for some time) though myprotein is way cheaper when they have discounts. I literally got 5kg (2x 2.5kg i wanted 2 flavors to not get bored) of whey isolate for about 60 euro whereas you ON whey isolate costs about 60 euro per 2.25 kg's
I wish you the very best op
