Getting Big Delts

Those of you with juicy shoulders, how did you acquire them and what helped the most?

Attached: main-qimg-57a9735eb438ea5dad6b2f18a46703e7-c.jpg (396x432, 21K)

OHP, Face pulls (non-negotiable), and Barbell Rows

pretty much this, but also side laterals and lat pulldown/pull ups

i did inclined bench press as the first thing to do every time i went to gym regaradless of my routine for the past 4 months and got great results

however im short (5.4) so there is that

Swimming when young helps a bunch
pullups
pushups
hanging on the bars
all get you RIPPED shoulders

lateral raises seem so fucking tedious and gay. They're easy to do, but I just never do them. What's the best compound barbel movement that works the lateral delts? High pulls? I've started doing those a week or two ago.

>They're easy to do
then clearly you aren't going heavy enough

People still DYEL me but tell me I have pretty built shoulders, so I guess it was genetics.

none retard

the appearance of big and round delts is 80% the lateral delts so find a variation you're comfortable with and hit them 3-5 times a week

Cable rows ok?

Don’t listen to these retards, dumbbell shoulder press

Barbell/dumbbell OHP
T. Best delts on fit

bruh where is your chest?

Lovecraftian

you could try cuban presses, but nothing else is going to hit the medial head like side laterals do. Also, if you think they're easy to do then you're likely not isolating the medial head and you're using your traps and upper back

high pull
dips
ohp

idk dude I've been for one month and they just haven't popped like the rest of me.

Yes if you are a little bitch

Fuck off

I meant easy as in mechanically simple, rather than a complex movement.

What, just hanging?

I hear face pulls are god tier, but is there anything I can substitute them with? Don't have access to a machine.

Heavy ass shoulder shrugs

OHP, side raises (non negotiable for dat shoulder width), rear delt flies

Seated lateral raises with good form

How do I do this without a gym? All I got access to is basic outdoor space for pullups dips etc. Ive heard handstand pushups are good, anything else?

t. poorfag

yeah lol, was the longest hanger on the pull up bar in 6th grade

genetics. I am lankyboy but always get comments on my juicy shoulders. sorry to redpill you.

Volume OHP

this desu, i've been a skelly my whole life but i have better looking delts than my friends that can ohp 2 plates (i can barely 1rm 120lbs after 7mo of lifting)

i can go very high intensity with my shoulder workouts so i do high volume side laterals, front raises, rear delt flys/facepulls, and ohp. ohp is less important than people realize, but damn its fun

you look like an old man

NON NEGOTIABLE

If you’re still here try an incline bench and lay chest down and pull up some dumbbells.

That's just inclined rear delt row.

Try going falter?

>tfw fucked up levator scapulae from ohp and the fucking up it again on heavy rack pulls

swim freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke

Side lateral raises all the time. 10 pound plate is what I use. 3x40. Don't increase weight just volume

Whats the best way to do lateral raises without incorporating the traps and upper back? I do this even when i focus not to but cant seem to really isolate that lateral delt

did you forget your facepulls user...?

I know the feel dude, just do shrugs to stenghten it and proper stretches before working out.

you're not gonna make it with the nerd look unless you workout that neck

my routine is
15/12/10 dumbell ohp
4x20(lmao) cable lateral raises
4x15 (first 5 skow 3 secs held at top, 3 secs down) shrugs
4x10 1.5 lateral raises: 0° 90° 45° 90° 0°
shoulders are by far my best muscle strength and sizewise, could just be genetics though

Not him, but how the fuck are you supposed to do that safely and without looking retarded?

I did nothing but a 2 hour shoulder and arm exercise for my first bulk
Shit was cash, have a lot of shoulder injuries now tho

lateral raises
Lateral raises are the best shoulder exercise though since they literally use all of your shoulder muscles in their main function, there is no better exercise.

Genetics, never really had to work especially hard for them.

Laterals don't do fuck all. It's just a pump exercise for roiders.
Band face pull beats it in emg studies

this is fucking retarded. All you're getting with this is a bunch of percieved effort

>All you're getting with this is a bunch of perceived effort
To be fair, the point of hitting medial delts is to hit it with as much volume as you can recover from. There's no point in doing heavy lateral raises and going up in weight every other session since they respond best to a fuckton of volume

Lateral raises done slowly.

And youll have no trouble getting them nipples pierced. Perky/10.

steroids build delts, otherwise just do the press and maybe a lateral raise

found the retard

That's not what natties respond to.
If you're trying to bring up a weak muscle, frequency is key. You should do band facepulls and raises 5 days a week taking no sets to failure.

Fixing my internally rotated shoulders (Thanks Jeff)
For exercises i just do these and somehow they seem to work great:
>OHP
>lateral raises
>facepulls
Also hitting shoulders with:
>dips
>pullups
>bench

I do incredibly strict lateral raises, one hand at a time and standard OHP. Works well for me.

The fuck you wearing bro?

Not even close

Do you have autism or something lad?

Yeah. And another thing, there's nobody even in the shirt you posted, so there's that too

what weight do you lateral raise?

8-10kg dumbbell 10-12 reps, 3 sets. When I say strict form I mean arm completely locked out and perfect reps every time. Really noticed delt gains when I started doing this.

cool, thanks. I've only really done OHP for shoulders. I'll start doing these things too. Thing is I only have barbell+plates, but I guess I can work up by holding the plates

Oh right. Looked some kind of one piece, lol

Yep plates will work fine too.

General Zod, is that you?

K N E E L

I do standing lateral flys and inverted pushups. I also have some delt activation during bench for some reason.

Hello jeff

Arnold OHP, cable side lateral raise, static holds super-setted w/ more side laterals, etc

are you a manlet?

gironda upright rows and high pulls

Depends on your definition. Some people here will say that 6’3” is the Manley cut-off. I’m 5’11”.

is your pic related considered as juicy shoulders? I might have body dysmorphia

They're decent, but not great, shoulders for someone who lifts to be lean rather than for size

Really the best factor is that they're wide

I don't get it
